Not an anime The US cartoon by Ruby-Spears from the 90s. The PS2 version is still the superior one, though. Not only for control. They had to compress alot of stuff to get the Cube version to fit on the disc, so it's a little less accurate, and to my understanding they also had to take some features out of the Cube version. Seven of these games were PS1 to begin with anyway (the six NES games are infact translated copies of the Japan-only Rockman Complete Works (re-release + some extra stuff of the NES MM games for PS1)).

Oh...not an anime? Is it that show that aired in the US in the mid '90s? That show was bad. :( I thought maybe someone had come up with a kick-ass Mega Man anime, because some of the PSX games (including the re-release of MMX3...or maybe it was X2) had anime cutscenes... Maybe not, though.

As I understand it, the GameCube version got the interviews, while the PS2 got episodes of the original Mega Man cartoon (I don't know that I'd really call it an anime). Everything else is common to both versions.

Good to know.

The G4TV interview is exclusive to the GameCube version, right? And is it the ONLY thing exclusive to the GameCube version, while the PS2 version has everything else plus one episode from an anime? If so, I'll just do the requirements to see the interview and go on and get the PS2 version.

Good news; that is precisely the configuration. Circle also slides (In addition to down+x) in 3+, and the shoulder buttons cycle through weapons/gadgets.

What's the button configuration? The GameCube version pisses me off so much with the backwards use of the A and B buttons. B ought to be shoot, A jump... How could they goof on that?

I'm hoping that with the PS2 version, square is shoot and X is jump.
