Lunari starts bouncing spells off her at a fast rate.
"Paralyze, Holy!"
The spells mix togeather and crash into Oin.
Idmeadiatly Lunari starts casting more spells.
OOC I did two spells since haste and I am pretty sure other effects have canceled by now. |

Off: if it weren't a desparation technique, it certainly would. It in and of itself it a kind of transformation...used only it becomes necessary.

A swing of the axe, and three cube-shaped chunks of the rock Oin stands on jet out from the main portion, each striking Carbuncle. One tumbles at Lunari, who, having a brain, steps out of the way of. |

"If you want to sit there with your defenses up you are very lucky I don't know gravity. Even though I can do something else."
Lunari re-summons carbunkle and he starts performing all his light skills. This gives Lunari; protect, shell, haste, reflect.
"Okay carbunkle now try to stop him from transforming."
Carbunkle rushes Oin.
OOC I quick question wouldn't a shell like that slow you down a lot?? |

Oin notes a ring on his finger.
"Oh...heh...heh heh...nice...'bout time, too...."
The Dwarf crosses himself using his axe hand.
Crystal Skin - desparation technique. Not learnable. Triples all defenses. Cannot be dispelled...wears off with time, or after a transformation.
Oin now looks like a white transparant crystal of the exact same shape, still moving just as much as usual. The axe is still glowing purple. |

Lunari starts to cast another spell to stop this.
"I won't let you win, so I cast White Wind."
The wind started picking up and soon all the dust and dirt was thrown off. Still the white wind didn't stop it kep blowing if Oin tried another attack like that. |

The Dwarf raised his shield to take the blow...blocking part of the magic attack. He breathes heavily.
"Close...meaning...you almost...drownd me there...."
Oin clearly isn't in the best of condition...not sunk though. A glow comes about the axe...followed by dust around Lunari picking up...flying into and about her, quickly. More and more dust rises up...and quickly. Soon, there's a column, with that which reaches the top falling downward within the column. Within a matter of seconds Lunari cannot see if she opened her eyes...'twould be foolish...enough dust dances about her that it would likely causes permanant eye damage very, very quickly. The dust caking is getting heavy inside her ears, nose, mouth, around the eyes, and in her clothes. |

Lunari casted holy on the onprepared Oin. At the same time Leviathan disappeared.
"Using a summon to power up another attack. Brillant if I say so myself." |

Off: yes...but not *strictly* of fire. That's the kicker.
Waters come...no sign of the Dwarf. Then there's a bit of a tremble....followed by a rumble. The waters start dancing about.
About 10 seconds later, an uprising of earth emerges above the waters, of a pink and black rock. Oin stands on top of it...and starts breathing heavily as soon as his head clears. The purple glow is all about him...the whole suit of armour, and the axe...the axe incredibly so. The glow about the armour goes away all at once, while the aura around the axe diminishes slowly. Oin is still breathing heavily.
"That...was...close...." |

OOC I have read quite a few legends and most of them say a pheonix is a bird made up of fire. when it uses up all it life or whatever if goes to ash and gets reborn.
While falling Lunari finishs her summon.
"Ok leviathan kill him!!!."
Lunari falls to the ground as Leviathan starts flooding the area but keeping Lunari from drowning. |

Off: that's not what any legend I've heard said. What you described is an elemental, not a phoenix. There's a *huge* difference.
"Try me."
Oin slams the axehead into the ground, and quickly rips up the soil as he swings it upward. A boulder erupts from the earth, sailing rather quickly at Lunari. She takes a clean hit. |

OOC Pheonix's rarely have a physical body just flames but the dirt attack would stall pheonix so his flames don't go out.
Lunari casts float after the 2nd bounce causing her to be able to avoid most of the attack.
"Are you crazy or something."
Lunari takes the time in the air to prepare a summon.
"This summon will really make you wish you didn't use earth attacks." |

Oin grits through the flames, keeping ahold of the axe shaft...as the scoots further and further up the Dwarf's arms. As Phoenix approaches, the aura reaches his shoulders...releasing the attack.
Grand Quake - a very heavy unfocused earth-elemental attack...causes quite the ground shakes, and sends a great many bits of earth materials...ores, stones, crystals, and dirt...sailing around, striking everyone present...very much striking everyone present.
Oin gets tossed about and smacked around...while enough chunks of dirt and stone, and crystal shards, slam into Phoenix to knock him back to the ground. Lunari is sent sailing upward. |

Lunari gets done summoning pheonix and with a explosion of flames Pheonix comes out.
"Now Oin Pheonix will finish this."
As she spoke those word pheonix started raising flames everywhere and flew right at Oin.
Lunari noticing the little axe move jumps away and uses another defencive pose. |

Oin puts his sheild on his back. He grips his axe with both hands, and starts whirling it above his head. The aura intensifies. He then over the head chops, burying the axe into the ground. The aura starts to slowly move up the shaft, reaching his hands. |

Before falling all the way down this time she catches herself on her staff. Then with a mighty swing she clocks Oin in the head while carbunkle hits him in the back.
"Carbunkle leave I have someone else in mind now."
Lunari starts to call upon pheonix, but she takes a defensive pose to block the next attack. |

"Catbunkle attack him again."
Lunari casts slow on Oin, and then tries to gain a 15 foot lead. |

Oin grabs Carbunkle by the hand, puts his right foot behind his opponent's, and throws Carbunkle aside...not really causing damage...just moving an obsticle.
Oin dashes after Lunari...barely catching up as she reached her staff. |

Lunari quickly summons carbunkle to attack Oin from behind. As carbunkle pushes Oin Lunari side steps changes her staff back to wood and dashes towards it.
"Carbunkle stall him." |
