I thought it was hilarious. Although in my opinion it isn't as funny as Family Guy, It still rank's higher then The Simpson's and such, In my opinion of course. |

To be honest, Family Guy is mediocre. This, even the pilot episode, stands head and shoulders above Family Guy. The Henry Kissinger joke was just brilliant. |

I saw it last night on AS. I liked it except the alien was annoying.  Overall I think it will show promise when it really gets going like Family Guy.  |

I'm not very happy about it, there was a good line here and there, but I just hate three of the characters. Being the mom, the alien, and the gold fish. I hate all three... a lot. In Family Guy, I can't name on character I hate, they are all awesome.

I was a little disappointed because it wasn't as awsome as Family Guy, but I guess its hard to top the best. It still was really funny, though!

That was CLASSIC; I didn't think the first episode of Family Guy sucked at all  .

I'd like to point out that the first episode of Family Guy sucked. The first episode of this is mediocre. Thus, if it constantly gets better (as Family Guy did), this will be the funniest thing ever. |

Best part of the whole show.
I do admit, Family Guy is much more entertaining, but this show does show promise. I enjoyed it because it fit the extremest American stereotype perfectly. From raising the terror alert a level to expecting a terrorist in their own house. |

Hopefully there will be walk-ons, that'll leave open for some very funny moments.
I thought the pilot ep was okay, but hopefully later on, it'll be much better. |

I didn't really... like it. It wasn't nearly as funny as Family Guy. The only thing I thought was clever was the Bush/God conversation. xD |

I hope that there will be some minor concurrence between Family Guy and American Dad. I'd imagine that one family or the other will take a trip and we'll see a walk on. Or a full fledged joke-off.

To be honest, it exceeded my expectations.  Good first episode, and Family Guy/American Dad could end up being a hell of a one-two punch.
Plus when you have The Simpsons using both Mario and Pac-Man in the same episode... good times.  |
