A good hack of a good game doesn't necessarily have to exist. There are tons of really good games I have yet to find good hacks of, Zelda 3 being the biggest shock to me. |

Specifically, I believe some of the enemy stats were changed to make it less ridiculously difficult, but I'm not sure off the top of my head. If I see Tomato around I'll ask him. Also, there were some ASM hacks done for the battle scenes, so certain enemies have a background with 'stars' that scroll across the screen rather than just the regular solid black. If I recall correctly, they were done by Xodnizel (programmer of FCE Ultra).

There was one releasd on starmen.net somewhere actually, a retranslation by Tomato which tried to make the bad translation more correct.
I think it didn't get finished fully, but most text was changed so it was playable and intresting in that way. And the game was tweaked in several ways, such it was made easier.  |

I don't know if anyone ever found this data before, but a while back, I found some of the enemy statistics data.
Here's some of the data for the snake. The rest of the enemies data are roughly in the same area as the snakes data.

Hello everyone...
I was thinking about this, it would be really cool if someone ever did an Earthbound Zero hack, With changed characters & changed text. I looked on Zophar's Domain & that hack they have is not that good.
So, my question is, Anyone here working on an Earthbound Zero Hack? And if they are what is the status on that hack?
If anyone has the answers to these questions, I would really appreciate it & thank you for taking the time to read this thread. |
