The basic spells are up in my 2nd post. As for the blue magic, heres some:

Beginning Blue Magic contents:
Learning: Allows you to learn new spells from enemies.
Goblin Punch: An attack that does a random amount of damage
Magic Hammer: Deals MP damage
Mighty Guard: Raises defense and magic def.
Acid: Inflicts random status
Hastebreak: Slows target if normal speed, stops target if hastend
Drain Touch: Drains foe of HP

Those are some good ones to start out on.
These is for those that are familiar with magic:

Advanced Black Magic contents:
Fira: More powerful basic spell
Blizzara: Ditto
Thundara: Ditto
Flare: Rather powerfull; creates an explosion
Graviara: Spell that does 1/2 to 1/6 damage to the enemy once
Holy: Powerfull spell, does extreeme damage to the undead

I could teach you about the next level black-magic spells. I know a LOT of them. I also know a little blue mage magic, but not much.

OP: Does anyone know some blue/gun mage magic? A set of weapons will work better with a little magic...

(rather then start a new thread i'll just post a request here...)

"Just saying... mix things up a little, running around and shouting Firaga and blowing things up works for a while, but eventually you'll get better results by learning and using more advanced combinations of magic. Like, summon a big boulder, have it burst into flames and roll at a guy... that's a useful combination right there. And then you can give those attacks spiffy names too..."

I... don't... quite follow. Could you explain further? After all, I am a bloodthirsty mercenary, not a wizard

Ultimanium could be seen sitting on a bench nearby. "...keep in mind though that these are base-level elemental magic attacks, and while they're relatively easy to summon and cast for the most part they can easily be cancelled out with the appropriate opposite element. While learning these spells are a step in the right direction, it is up to to you to customize how you distribute these elements and use them to construct powerful magicks of your own. This is how most other special attacks are cooked up, and the vast majority of ritualistic magicks both of light and darkness require a different level of ingenuity altogether..."

Good Idea! Here, fishy, eat the wand! *gulp* "Mmmm! that was good!" *Fishwarrior stares at the fish which he thought was dead. It just smiled, then went stiff as a board again*

The fish could just swallow the wand. Then, he gets and added power up, and you can usem him as a wand!

Dude? I don't really have a free hand. One hand holds a Magical Trout, the other, my Plasma Cannon. Can you magically empower one of those weapons? Perferrably the fish?

Well, heres a book that has some spells in it. You need either a basic wand to use them, or have a lot of experience with magic. Here's the spell list of the book:

Fire: Basic attack fire spell
Blizzard: Basic attack ice spell
Thunder: Basic attack lightning spell
Gravity: Spell that does 1/3 to 1/8 damage to the enemy once
Cure: Basic curing spell
Esuna: Cleanses self of bad statuses exept zombiefication
Life: Used to revive someone, or cure someone of zombiefication
Shell: Raises magic resistance
Protect: Raises physical defence

There's the basic spells. They can be usefull, but only use the low level basic elementals (fire, blizzard, thunder) against people that don't have very high magic resistance, or they'll only do minimal damage. Oh yeah! Here's your wand! *gives clockworkz the wand* Wands also raise magic offense/resistance, and the casting time. The next book has more powerfull spells, but they are hard to learn. The book will tell you how to cast the spells. Well, I'm off!
