Windwaker, did you play as light side? I know the light side ending is really....really short.

I'm on the last planet now as dark side, so hopefully its a bit longer than what I've already seen.

I've heard that KOTOR III will tell the story of where Revan went.

*bumps*

Wow, I just beat it.

Crappy ending. Cinema < 20 seconds.

The KOTOR games make a habit of having the best parts of the game up until the last planet or so. Then it just... meh.

KOTOR 2 was overall more depressing than the previous, with the "ALL THE JEDI ARE GAWN OMG" kinda feel. Which made pretty much everything you did seem pointless. :\

It also seemed rushed.

But hell, the game was great. KOTOR was better, but it was great.

I'll let you know how I feel about it when I finish it.

And "wow" isn't a bad thing. I'm just taken aback. I like the story and how it does
Spoiler:
tie in with the last KOTOR
. (Just to let you know, I'm trying to say as few spoilers as possible, but just in case, I wanted to black that out).

windwaker, dude, it's Telos, Peragus, and Taris. At least on my game. Peragus II is the planet, you were on the Peragus Mining Facility on an asteroid near Peragus.

In many ways, KOTOR was better... but having played KOTOR 2, everything in the first one just feels so... weird.

I will say, though, that the new upgrade system is MUCH better. In my opinion, the gameplay of KOTOR 2 is better, while the non-gameplay elements aren't as good. Ah well, no use comparing, both are great games.

"Wow..." just doesn't do it for me. :\ :/ Do you like it, or hate it?

The game's great, it just isn't as 'smooth' as KOTOR was... I like how Tilos is the Tanis equivilant, just, it's not nearly as exciting.

Bugs? Yes, quite a few.

Run into any bugs yet?

Tip: Talk to everyone in your party. And enter and exit your ship often, until all scenes are all said and done.

Right now, my thoughts on the game: Wow....

I think I'm near the end now (didn't I say that before) but I have to wait until after work tomrrow to find out.

From what I heard, it isn't... but after thinking, how COULD it be better than KOTOR? One thing I really liked about KOTOR was Tanis, and all of the sub stories. So far, I've gotten to explore an abandoned space station thing... wee. But it's really great trying to figure out what happened.

I don't kno what to say...I really don't...I think I'm near the end of the game (36 hours in light side) but..well, the game is great and all, but KOTOR is better. But I'm not done with the game yet!

*finally* got it. I'm to the part where the droid is mysteriously destroyed in Pegasus II... yes, that far behind you Anya.

My bad...when I posted that thread, I was only 12 hours in....now that I post this thread, I'm now close to 24 hours.

Yea, I tend to take my time in any RPG that I play, talking to everyone, fighting anythingthat I can (well, as long as I stay light side)....I'm already at ultimate light side and I'm still on the first place that I traveled to in the Ebon Hawk.

I had better hurry up and beat it, got another RPG coming out on Wed. But chances are, I won't.

In the PC version, anyone notice all the bugs. Hopefully with an update, it'll be fixed. I thought that they would have dealt with the bugs for 2, especially with the bugs that are in the first one.

I'm assuming you take your time? My first playthrough of KOTOR 2 took 27 hours, and on KOTOR I think it was around the same... then again, I probably play too fast.

Edit: Grammar mistake. Whoops.

Just to let you know, I've had the game for less than a week...and.....about 24 hours into it...and I haven't even touched the surface of it.

So far so good.

KOTOR 2 is to die for. You get classes, Jedi MAster, Weapon Master, Watchmen, Sith Maruader, asassin, and lord.
Force Powers and Baddies are pretty tight too.

I couldn't get into NWN either, KOTOR is much better, I found.

I might try it down the road, but I never even... well, "tried" the first one either.

Then again, I still haven't been able to get into NWN, and I take it KOTOR is similar to that.

Enough replay value, Anya?

Oh, I thought you just didn't play with male on Dark (misread on my part).

Odd, every male friend of mine has at least played it with a female character.

....

And I quote: "You know what I didn't do, but I should, play as a male, as both light and dark."

So no, I never played as male.

I tend to like to play as my own sex, making the char look close to me as possible.

You know what I didn't do, but I should, play as a male, as both light and dark.

I actually like being on the light side better (I think the ending was much better as well) but there's a few good cut scenes when you're bad and the dialogue is funnier when you are dark. Funny as in, you can really mess with people's minds.

Spoiler:
My fave scene while being dark side, has to be near the end, and you and Bastilla are on your way to the Star Forge. Vandar is about to pull the fighters back, and Revan's eyes go evil and she shakes her head. (I say she, cause I played as a female).

I can't even remember playing it on dark. How different was the game?
