I'd still much rather see a Doom movie with Bruce Campbell as the marine. =D

But yeah, if they really make a Halo movie, it kind of seems depressing. I mean what are the chances they "wouldn't" show the characters face at some point? They probably would ... could just be me though.

If they are going to make a Halo movie, they had better have a scene where the Chief is slaughtering Covenant after Covenant with an energy sword.

Add that, and some decent Spartan armor, and you may have a shot.

Oh, and I'm surprised nobody mentioned House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark. If Uwe Boll screws up Michelle Rodriguez's career Bloodrayne, I swear...

But yeah, Starcraft, Halo, Aliens-Predator, it's all the same.

And I'm still not bought on this "actually" going to release. I heard about a Deus Ex movie in the works about 4-5 years ago, and I've heard about a Metroid one here and there (all from big sites, like IGN etc), so yeah. Unless I get solid info, maybe from Marty O'Donnell [composer], then I don't completely believe this.

On top of that, as much as I like Halo, I could really careless for a movie.

I agree, I was saying the other day, how I would love a Half-Life movie...it would be really cool, I am interested how this will turn out though, even though I dont much like halo or halo 2

This is gonna be interesting.
I wonder if theyll show Master Chiefs face....and the Covent will look interesting.
I just hope its not some side story in the Halo universe...which it will probably be.

Oh come on, Double Dragon, Street Fighter, and so on, were all great movies!!

I've got to agree, but I don't know..... an FPS like Halo into a movie? I'm not so sure.

I've heard people say that Halo is a rip from the Starship Troopers movie (I didn't see ST2, cause I heard it really sucked), but maybe they'll find a way for both movies to be different.

I have Starship Troopers 2 on my computer but I haven

Errrrr.....

Hopefully they'll keep the orginal score to the opening of Halo. I remember I d/l the score, right before Halo came out, and I was just amazed at it.

I really need to go to my friend's to play Halo 2, even if its short.

And the movie is still in early production, so there is room to grow.

Might be a decent movie. Then again, movies based on video games aren't that good (generaly). I may be wrong, and I hope I am, but there's something that tells me that I'm not.

ST2 was totally sweet! One of my new favourite movies for the campiness.

"I don't see how Halo and starship troopers is alike. It's sci fi and it's with aliens, other than that it's NOTHING. It's like arguing that Friends is a rip of chainsaw massacre because they are both english words, or something "

You win.

Now a STARCRAFT movie...That would be a ST rip-off. Unless they had it done completely top-down.

What!

I loved 28 Days Later.

Such a great movie, with an awesome soundtrack too.

I haven't seen ST2 and I also heard it sucked, that's not the reason I haven't seen it yet though.

Some worries in a Halo movie would be sidekicks if any, the actual story (based on the games or what?) and main actor that is, if Mr. Cheif's gonna be in it or not.

I doubt it'll be something epic but if they have the music composer from the game it'll atleast have nice epic music. I don't want to see a Starship Troopers copy, even though I love ST, it wouldn't fit Halo.

This has been a rumor for ages, and now, it's finally official, that Halo will be getting a movie deal.

Wonder if its gonna be a comedy with the Red vs Blue guys?

In a million dollar deal, Microsoft has hired Alex "28 days Later" Garland to adapt their highly successful videogame "Halo" into script.
Once the screenplay is done it will be shopped to studios as an all in one package: script & rights.

Peter Schlessel will serve as a producer on the project.

Hopefully we'll get to know more soon, like who might be in the Halo movie.

I wasn't a fan of "28 Day Later", but hopefully this script will be a good one.
