I figured out what caused it, my brother uses yahcamview, and I uninstalled, and reinstalled it, and now it doesnt happen, maybe just try uninstalling the logitech quick cam and reinstalling it...might work for you, if you didnt already fix it.

I've been having the same problem. When I open VB or a dialog in a VB program that uses certain controls such as the slider, about 6 of them pop up. A few are named 'Logitech Quick Cam' so I bet it's related to that; if anyone knows of better software for that I'd love to hear it. The only solutions I've heard of are related to MS Office, and seeing how I've never had that near this computer...

I Have Visual Studio, Which I use for VB, and sometimes C, but now, everytime I open up VB6, I get a dialog about installing something, and then it disappears, then I Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and I see Msiexec.exe

this only happened recently, it didnt do it yesterday, and I was barely on the computer, only my brother was, then I open it today, and this happens, its not too bad, only annoying..

anyone know why msexec is running everytime I run VB6, it doesnt happen when I open VC++...so its really odd.

edit: it also happens when I try to run any VB program....
