He's talking about my RAM Database program. As I mentioned in the email, RDF files are just a list of addresses that you entered into the program. There's no such information in the ROM, you have to find them and write it yourself. (That's the point of the program, to make it easier to write the lists. )

I think I understand.

Brooklyn has a kind of editor that uses RDF files to determine what kind of info is where. He apparently thinks these files can be extracted from a ROM, which is not the case. RDF files, like other such files, must be written by hand, with information discovered by the file's creator.

In other words, he's just highly confused.

Im not full of ish. What it does is it saves the RAM adresses from a ROM so you can edit them with ease.

I looked for RAM Database File in Google and it got no results. Either you're highly confused or full of #*@&. What's the purpose of an RDF file in a ROM? (i.e. what does it do)

RDF stands for Ram Database File and I need to know how to extract this from a ROM. I use the RAM List program from this site:

very carefully.

the first step is in knowing what the bloody hell an RDF file is (in the context of video game ROMs).

the second step is enlightening the rest of us with this information.
