There's a funny one called Pipe Dreams at http://www.maskedkoopa.com. That one uses Super Mario World sprites, and Mario & Luigi RPG (I forgot where) uses Mario & Luigi sprites.

Explains why the best sprite comic I read actually used custom made sprites.

...how many Mario sprite comics are they? I swear most are megaman clones.

Some of them don't make much sense. I would suggest remaking some of them if you like them but get rid of some others. Comics 1 through 6 need backgrounds. I hope you have improved on your skill. I would like to see more.

I'd say: "Add more nude characters"
Just kidding, The layout should follow the same size..
Re-organize the order of them and add some backgrounds.

The whole idea may be either to give a comic that game feel, or (more common) to save effort.

Some work can go into sprite comics to make them look distinct, either by altering sprites or creating custom environments or just by making them damn funny. Sprite comics with little effort quickly become old. That's the problem with most sprite comics.

Isn't that the whole idea?

Are these gag-strip comics, or are they ongoing story ones?

I can't seem to work out any continuity between them, so I think they might be gag strip comics, but as already pointed out, in all but a few the humor is very weak, or in others confusing. You have a few that were good.

If you're looking to start doing it again, I'd look at your comic writing and try to polish it up a bit.

On the actual panels -- yes, they are inconsistent. They might look neater if you make sure that they're all the same height.

The panel size is too inconsistent. Otherwise, it's okay.

It needs more megaman recolors.

Meh.

Huh?

Well, this one kind of makes sense.

Again, sensical but not entertaining.

Slightly better, still meh.

Drags on.

Best one because of its simplicity.

I don't get it.

Boring.

Eh.

Wtf.

Don't worry, everyone made bad sprite comics. In my case I deleted them all and don't have to bear the shame of looking back on them.

Not to say you couldn't get better, but these are pretty bad.

Also this seems more like a modern art thing than a craziness thing.
