I want to make a SMB3 style POW block. Does someone know how to convert these into ether regular map16 blocks or normal, non-map16 blocks altogether? |

Thanks. Too bad I can't get any of those Map16++ blocks to work, I was hoping to make a POW block type effect with the all sprites coined block. A good POW could be made with the code used when Mario lands face first with a cape though, it's possible to set him to allways land with that effect with a certain value so you(as in whoever is willing to give it a shot) could use that to find it. |

I just did a search of the entire forum (subjects with "Custom block" in them) and found nothing of interest, but you can go through them all by hand and try and find them.
If you can remember the user, it would be even more helpful, but someone else might know. |

I remember a set or two of custom blocks someone made, that had things such as a block that activated the effect of the fast BG scroll sprite when touched, and ones that made sprites into coins and such, but I can't remember where I found them, because I need them again, right now just the Fast BG Scroll one but the others would probably be good too. This is for a mini project, mostly to show off to another forum and to practice with LM and Block Tool/Inserter which I haven't used in a while.
EDIT: I found this old "template" for making blocks so I can do with just the memory location for if the effect is active or not. |
