Well, since it's Halloween night and I'm too tired to make #88 (actually I have to got to bed ), I'll just tell you right now. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

In the last panel, it loosk like a Yoshi transformation explosion... but I could be wrong. Maybe the ice cream si explosive? And what about our dear sneaky Bandit friend, and what's happened to our main baddie of the comic (General Shyguy)? |

Also, Nintendo has hinted that fact of yoshis needing to eat by putting the Yellow Yoshi in Paper Mario that loves to eat food and always asks Mario if he has any good food. Also, in Super Mario RPG's Yo'ster Isle, they use Cookies as tokens for when they win races.
Maybe I need to take a trip to the Mushroom Kingdom, only I hope that the yoshis don't pummell me with eggs because I'm a Tap-Tap . Maybe I'll be able to see you, Schwa! |

Yoshis NEED food to stay emotionally healthy. And healthy food! None of that artificial crap in stores. A baby Yoshi will merely get grumpy, while an adult Yoshi could fall into a deep depression if gone too long without food, and even lose all motivation to live. Some hungry adult Yoshis will try and eat ANYTHING in sight in one of those moods. I had a Yoshi companion in one of my adventures once, and we had to travel across a desert... We ran out of food, and the next day the Yoshi tried to eat me. Just in time, we spotted the Oaisis, and the Yoshi drank half of it in 2 minutes. (It was a relatively small Oaisis, but still!) Then he ate ALL the Lemons and Limes, before falling fast asleep. I had NOTHING to eat. Whee.
Fun times, those were...
Anyways, I feel for Yoshi! Going without food is awful if you're a Yoshi.

Yoshi gets grumpy when he wants food. Although it's only briefly in this comic, it'll become more evident in later strips. |

As for the bubble, the bubble for the area is red even though Yoshi is green. Even the Yoshi box is red:
