Yea, but why not?

I respect that people don't like the series (heck, not everyone is going to agree with you), but at least give reason. From this post, my first thought of a reply was this, "not everyone burns stuff off of the net". This is what I also gathered from people in RL who said that they'll get it online instead of buying it (same with Red vs. Blue). But what am I to say, this is just my thought.

I like silly comedy and shit like that, so this sort of thing is perfect for me. Especially when I'm either online or cleaning, its something funny that I can listen to in the background.

The same way I respect people that like it but I don't see anything funny, really.. There are some flash cartoons that you can laugh a bit with something or maybe an entire episode.. But while watching strongbad I just get "huh? what's the big deal of that?"..
That's why I replied about it.. My point is that tons of people were like "omeg strongbad is the best thing bla bla", but I never liked it.. I hope this comment explains and justify my first one..

Neither of them are funny. I've never once chuckled at RvB. And the subtelty's you speak of aren't funny.

If I were to toss down for some good comedy, I'd get a Bill Hicks tape or something.

TROGDOR THE BURNINATOR!!!!

"Man, looks like it's been eaten by some kind of... linux..."

Homestar Runner is so incredibly funny. It's funny because it's subtle. RvB couldn't be more obvious if it tried. It's the little things that make it count, if you aren't prepared to pay attention to the details, you won't find it funny

It's just honestly not funny, basically nothing on that site makes me actually laugh. I don't know, how do you explain that? It just doesn't make me laugh. My humors pretty weird though, I'll admi ... I'll just say I love Napolean Dynamite.

Now RvB, is actually funny.

Maybe it's because Homestar is too kiddie perhaps?

Then again RvB is even losing it's touch as of late.

In the end I guess I'm just picky.

Xeograd, I only respect the Trog-Dor tune. My band has done many covers of that song.

Although not exactly related to the topic fully, I just want to throw this out here.

I absolutely hate homestar runner and have no idea why people think it's funny.

Am I a criminal now?

Trogdor was fun, the first time I watched it. Other than that, that place just amazes me with ... nothing.

But I guess for those of you who like the place, cool beans.

Just my opinion. Not trying to be too negative, I've just gotten tired of the Homestar Runner hype.

This is one of those times when I wish I had loads of money pouring out of my rear end.

Its all in there, as it says in the DVD box.

* 4 karaoke tracks
* puppet stuff (????!)
* 3 unreleased e-mails
* heaps of bonus, hidden, and never before seen stuff

And it mentions that all the hidden scenes and easter eggs are in tact.

Well, the first 100 e-mails are now on DVD and I've actually managed to buy it for $30.00 and its a three DVD set.

Hunh. So what do they do for the things you can click on after (and in one instance, during) the cartoons?

For those who do not know, here is the actual website, and from there you can check out the e-mails.
