With a lot of hair pulling... I've tried SMB music hacking before, it's really not all that worth it. Music hacking is a pain in the rear to begin with, SMB takes it to a new level of pain though. It has to have one of the most difficult music engines out. You can feel free to try, but worry about graphics and level design first. Once you have all of that done, then try music. |

I found This doc. Doesn't seem to be organized very well but it covers the info okay. A rewrite of this doc couldn't hurt at all. |

I know little about smb1 rom hacking? I need to edit music in smb1. I am currently making a smb1 hack using smb utility smb1 editor. In my hack I have all new levels up to 4-1 I need to add all new music to my smb1 hack, but I do not know how to hack in asm that well. Is there any tutorials in smb1 music hacking?
Thanks, |
