Banner graphics-wise...that's way way too big. That's about double the size it should be in width and height. |

Bleh, that's Photoshop's wand tool for you. Try selecting the character images themselves and contracting by a pixel. Should remove the thin white border around the character.
Other than that, it's great. I really don't think it's too big. Looks like it would work for me... |

I think that the images are good too but they are too big. Maybe you could put an animated gif of Zero running across your sig.

Zapotech made me this image and I've been using it on my sig on other boards. For some reason I don't want to annoy the Acmlm community with it, so you see it and comment (Please? ^.~ ) since I plan beating Ailure on post count eventually, you'd be seeing it a lot:
