Maps cannot trigger you dead at a specific time unless you play in Use Map Settings mode. Use Map Settings mode does not effect record. People using that to get record points are idiots, becouse it doesn't work.
this is only in the real bnet, but i'm playing at an emulated server because my friends also play there and there is every thing recorded. please don't say that i should play on the original server, because i want to play against my friends and they don't change. |

yeah play on Melle settings and not UMS ... cause you want to make sure it's a fair map....

It is annoying as hell, that is what Star Craft is.
Since I started playing again (I'm rusty as hell), I've been stuck playing ladder games, etc...You know why? Because on the official maps you get stuck with people going 'n00bz lol! ur l0zzis t00 big lolololol., ofdskgfdlolsdse!!!!!!' or some sort of other brain rotting dribble. You just can't play that game anymore because of all the fuck-up no lives that play it  |

THIS is the worst way to get points. i really hate this sucking trick. and about the FASTEST MAP, they also suck. the fun of starcraft lies in it's heart, the ressources. and if you have too much of them or something like that the game isn't worth to be called starcraft. in real starcraft you have limited resources. it's fun to play THE FASTEST MAP, maximaly one to two times, then it sucks. |

I have to agree. I only had 2 accounts. The second one was made when my first one (beginner123) became too old.
I only play with my friends. Well, not anymore. Anyway, they got too used to The Fastest Map Ever. They built a lot of Photon Cannons. Always ended in stalemate. Then we tried a Blizzard map and they tried the same strategy. They lost in a few minutes, but quit before they lost their last building. Stupid record people.
I don't really care about records. I just like to see exactly how many times I won or loss, but it doesn't do much else. |

People worry about their record a little too much. Everytime they get more losses then wins, they get a new account. Or they constantly change clans. Just play the official maps.
And dont join a clan.... |

one time i played a nonstandart map, and i died in 5 secs. only play offizial maps. NEVER play anything else if you don't know the person you play agains.
and train the ladder maps. when you are good enough for the ladder you don't want to play 'normal' games. |

If it says n00b in the name, then half the time its a money map pro looking for a better rec. If you want to get good, play the mission, then play Bnet. And try to avoid money maps, thats not the real game, its only a way for unskilled players to get some wins. Best bet is to keep playing blizzard maps. |
