Agreed, this is a very neat toy. Great job
Oh and Zem, if you had a customtitle before the board restart (which I think you had) you could've just asked any admin. |

Damn! I must look into this.
EDIT: btw, you don't need to put the # sign into the color boxes.
EDIT: fixed. A typo. raar. |

Just uncheck the "solid" box. I'm glad you're having fun with it. =D |

Couldn't get the transparency to work. Still awesome, though. |

SALSA FLIES (12:52:30 PM): Do you plan to do anything with it? Because it's sort of fun, and it reminded me of how Jesper used to have those custom titles, and maybe you'd be able to do something like that, and come up with something like Wild Strawberries or the blazemores or something. bsznm (12:52:54 PM): Um... you mean like make text? SALSA FLIES (12:53:08 PM): No, just how you make images SALSA FLIES (12:53:42 PM): I was using Jesper's thing as an example, how people registered names and were able to access their images by going to say, wootest.net/customtitle/yd as the url, as opposed to what you use now, which is too long for custom titles bsznm (12:54:17 PM): I could do that, I think SALSA FLIES (12:54:22 PM): Yeah bsznm (12:54:51 PM): But I wouldn't do it until I had a custom title because I'm stingy. I asked jesper once but he ignored me.
Since this conversation I have acquired a custom title by bugging acmlm, and I'll start working on this at some point, I guess. |

I was playing with that last night, which gave me the start of an idea for a minipic.

Note that the white background on these images is not necessary; I'm putting it there to show off different colors while allowing for people to have whatever layout preferences and color schemes they want without endangering visibility. You can make transparent backgrounds and you don't need to have a border around the image.
What do all of these images have in common? They were all generated quickly and easily with this pseudo-3D toy which I created specifically for the purpose of making things easier for myself. It comes complete with a handy tutorial which isn't boring at all and which everyone should read instead of asking "How do I work this help =(". And since it was very interesting to write, I've put out the source code (PHP) for anyone wondering how I did it. With all that, there's no reason you shouldn't enjoy it. So have fun, bitches, and post your horrible masterpieces. |
