I will agree with you Rupert is perfect for Ron, his facial expressions and all. Hermione on the other hand was nothing of what i pictured her from the book, too me i hate her, not as a person, but i don't think she plays hermione correctly... anyway thats just my opinun

The books are great. Fantasting. Smashing. XD

The movies on the other hand.. Theyre ok. They have their moments, and the effects are nice. Rupert Grint is the perfect Ron, and Hermione is pretties than she is in the book (to me atleast) but I suppose she'd get prettier as she gets older. All the characters have to age and mature as they do in the book, physically and in how and what they say, etc. The books DO get darker and so should the movies!! I cant wait to see this movie though. HP3 was actualy the first book i read in the series This movie better be good.

Yeah the movies did get a bit boring for me too, i recon J.K should have just let the directors go and let them tell the story than J.K wanting full control over everything and what needs to be in it and that.

I hated the movies.

When I read the books, I picture it to be alot more darker and stuff. After seeing the movies, the books just seem like something nintendo would release.

Apparently the director wanted Malfoy to change his hair style, so that he looked olders and to show that the characters are growing up. Me thinks that their slowing making each characters apearance change to suit "now-a-days", such as clothing and hair styles.

Its still going to be a good movie, i can't wait.

I think one of the main reasons, is that they're all growing up so fast.

That...or its another one of those "trends".

I am really looking forward to seeing the third movie. I loved reading all the harry potter books, but i was heaps disapointed when seeing the 1st movie. It was too kiddy for me and i found that the actors who play (harry, ron and hermione) had bad acting skills. BUT I really liked the 2nd movie, it had improved and was alot more darker. The third movie sounds heaps cool, and i saw the tralior and it looks heaps more darker. They could have made sirius look more evil looking but other then that, its a movie i am looking forward to.

I've seen the trailer, and it seems pretty well put together with a nice view. However, I've also glimpsed a preview from the movie on Access Hollywood, and I got to see some not-so-decent acting from the two young actors that play Harry, and Hermione. (Maybe it was just the sequence it was put in, I dunno)

I hope the movie turns out to be just as well done as the trailer. =P

Not really...I'm what, like 15, I still read them.

Right under Harry Potter 5 is the Communist Party Manifesto.

There is nothing wrong with hype either, they haven't ruined my reading experience.

Harry Potter = suck. I like the first 3 books (I was like 13 when I read them). Now, the hype has killed the bloke. Oh, Bludger!

Hehe, I kinda liked the last movie. Which I saw with my sisters... and one of them have arachnophobia.

The movie experince was kinda intresting... (my favorite scene was probably when Hermione used wrong hair...)

I'm probably get it when it's on DVD. As with most movies these days...

I enjoyed reading the books, but never saw the movies.
To be honest, the actor playing Harry Potter is just too wimpy looking, and Hermione's "real" version is prettier than I imagined her from the books.
So I rather not, I think.

In theory they should get darker as the books progress, Book 4's pretty dark and the 5th is darker still. Book 3 is one of my faves. Glad to see they've gotten the Dementors spot on, I just hope that Buckbeak doesn't look naff.

Movie comes out June 4th and the newest trailer is up.

Cinescape site and here is the...bah...the site for the trailer is down. Oh well, it should be back on later, hopefully.

I remember when I saw the first movie. I didn't think I would like it and that it would be too "kiddie". But I had a few hours to spare and it was the only movie playing.....lets just say I'm happy the way it turned out, as well as the 2nd movie.
