Forcing people to change the license of their whole project isn't something I associate with freedom.
This is what inspired me: /*

OMFG, grammar error! The whole thing is null and void now. But then, you didn't include 2 sections in all caps, so it can't be serious anyway. |

I've been thinking up a license for my released source code (in fact I've been refraining from releasing source code because I don't have a good license) and I think it's right about done now.
So, introducing the Jesper license, revision 1.
You're free to adapt and include this code in your own applications, code snippets or hacks, under these conditions: * You retain this license in its entirity. * You do not claim my work as made by someone else than me. * You do not hold me responsible in any way for any damage or unexpected results or side-effects this code causes solely or in concert with other code under any circumstances. * You do not sell this code solely. * If you make a lot of profit off an application, code snippet or hack with my code included, it'd be nice if you sent me a small monetary donation in return. (I don't drink beer.)
I think it qualifies for Free Software. |
