Steel/Rock, Trappy. Steel is weak to fire but the rock is strong so it does normal damage - water is good against rock so it's supereffective.

Trapster, no, Kingdra would be normal against electricity, at least in G/S. Dragons resist electricity, Water's weak. .5 x 2 = 1; normal damage.

Ah, so that

Because it was a levelup move for them in RBY. When it became a hidden machine technique, they kept it since it was their trademark move.

Is there any easy way to convert different kinds of codes? (AR, CB, GS) I recall seeing a Code Breaker code that will let you take all three starter pokemon, both fossils, and Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan.

Also, does anyone know why Goldeen and Seaking learn the HM Waterfall as a normal level-up move?

Bah. My experience with R/S tells me that the addition of Dark and Steel did little good. Before, you would run into trainers with high-leveled Psychics and you'd be screwed because they're so damn strong. Now, the same thing happens, but you also run into trainers with high-leveled Dark and Steel types, and you're screwed because they have high defense and are resistant to damn near everything!

But then, it's better than in R/B, where stats seemed to be completely un-related to levels in some cases. Misty comes to mind, and a trainer soon after that with a Butterfree; both just seemed far too powerful for their levels. G/S were best, IMO. (Best programming too, though I haven't really looked at R/S. )

Last I checked, Umbreon's attack stats were rather poor, for me anyway. Still had a hell of a defense, though. Lived through multiple Hyper Beams.

Steel's weak to Fire, and I think ground... or rock.. can't recall which. Again, this is G/S, things do change.

Steel's primary weakness, fire
Something strong against fire, water

Really weak to electricity.

Dragon type pokemon with high sp. def.
Give it the ability thick fat.

Still weak to certain things, but ice damage lessened.

Steel is weak to water too from what I know. At least, they were weak to water in S/G/C.

That Kingdra would be weak to Electric pok

The least weaknesses possible, I think, would be Water/Dragon (as seen in Kingdra, in Gold and Silver), and that's weak to Dragon type. Possibly Dragon/Steel, though that'd still be weak to Fighting. Keep in mind that the most recent game I played thoroughly was Gold, so things may have changed.

I don't think it's possible to go below one weakness. I'll leave the rest of the discussion alone as others could explain it better than I.

Wonder Guard doesn't protect against Poison, Leech Seed, Burns (theoretically; I don't know if it's possible to burn them), Hail, or Sandstorm. Also... Anything that one part is weak to and the other is not immune to will still hit it. More importantly, abilities can't be modified and remain that way, last I checked. Same with types.

And yes, Dark is weak to Bug.

Huh? Dark is weak to Bug? I never would

But then, it would be double weak to bug type ._.;; There is no way to put it..but it is impossible to make a Pokemon invincible ._.
