Yeah, that's what happens to me, except that it doesn't change the status bar or anything, like it didn't even register the click. I'd wonder if it really is sending a request in your case, or if it just thinks it did.

Sometimes I have to click links twice, but it's not isolated to this board, it's everywhere. Firefox will usually say "Waiting for www.[domain].com," and nothing will happen. I think that's just an ISP issue, the request probably gets lost somewhere...

I think this might be a problem with the browser itself, I've seen similar in Mozilla. If I click on a link really quickly (moreso if the mouse is moving at the time) it gets selected but not actually clicked.

hrm... I never had a problem with 2000 or XP. Can you list the plugins and extensions you have installed? Those can slow down the browser sometimes.

Have you also scanned for adware, spyware, and viruses? Some of them intercept all Internet connections and could be messing you up.

hmm... do you mean threads? And what OS are you using?

I'm using Firefox at school with Windows 98... and it freezes a lot.

I dunno if it's a problem with the board, as it only happens here, but I sometimes have to click TWICE on a post to go see it. Like, if I wanted to see a post, I click on it, and the only thing is like a refresh, like if I did nothing. I click again, and it works. Any clues ? I use Firefox 1.0.
