A bit more details at the start might be necessary. When you click the big Download link, it will pop up a bar at the top saying that Firefox protected you from having the web site install an extension. There'll be a button called Allow sites. Click it, and then click a button adding the domain to the list of sites allowed to install extensions. Then click OK and click the Download link again. Another dialog will come up, saying that the extension is not signed (I think). This is a bit technical but the extension is safe to install anyway, so click the Install button when it enables.
Edit: In response to the previous post, it has worked fine ever since I started using it one year ago, and it has continually gotten easier to configure it and more and more features have been added. On one (only one) occasion did I run in to a slight change in the way my links were opened, and that was because of conflicts with another extension. TBE basically rewrites huge chunks of the Tabbrowser module (hence its name) to give you more parameters to play with and define exactly where new tabs should be opened and how, and that can be a cause of problems if you install extensions that also fiddle with the implementation of tabbed browsing, which most people don't. |

If you want to install the extension, do what DarkSlaya said. To allow the site to install the extension, you have to go to Tools -> Options -> Web Features -> second 'Allow Sites' button, and add the site in there.
It's up to you if you want to do that though. I was reading through the advantages / disadvantages on the site, and the last disadvantage really stood out:
"Less maintenancibility by huge codes.
Virtually, now no one can update TBE codes, excluding me. Its codes are like as entwined spaghetti. Many unknown bugs are maybe there, many known problems (with unknown reasons) too."
The thing about many unknown bugs and many known problems without explanations really doesn't look good. If they can't be bothered to go through their code, and address whatever bugs are in there, I don't see how anyone could want to install it  About them not knowing the causes of various problems, why would you even release a program / extension / whatever if you know it's potentially unsafe for people to use? I'll say it once again though, it's up to you.
Holding Ctrl before you click a link isn't too hard though. Just press it with your little finger  |

Well I was more wanting to know how to set it so it does that with a simple left click like I set my Crazy Browser to do. |

Click with the middle button/whell if you have one, or ctrl+click on the link or right-click and select "Open in new tab".
It's that simple.  |

How do I make it so that when I select something out of my favourites or that links toolbar up top that it opens a new tab? |
