Are you actually making a game of that looks cool already if so I might play it when it comes out. I like what you did with the monsters but one thing it would not look that bad in the megaman game but it would look good in super metroid games because in megaman you just go strait through the levels in metroid you go up, down, right, left anydirection in megaman you go right and left not up or down and another thing the monster graphics would be better in super metroid that is such a suggesten.

I really like those Half Life sprites you put together, They look hot! Just for seeing this I feel like installing HL Opposing Force.

I think I'm going to be very, very sick.

HL2 made me dizzy enough, but... no.

Yeah, I can't really make a hack without it seeming like I stole the idea, but I swear I had most of these sprites done before I heard of it.

I think the 2-d thing was called "Codename: Gordon" You can download it free off the steam client if you have that, or at it's web page. I'm too lazy to google for it though.

it's one of the first First Person Shooter type games I've ever seen someone try to translate to a Side Scrolling Action/Adventure game....

There's actually a 16-bit style platformer of Half-life available for free download from Steam. But its craptacular and full of bugs.

Your pixel art is very good, very good for 8 bit type games. I can't wait to see what you can do with SNES style games. I find that drawing or editing graphics is one of my favorite types of romhacking, and can make all the difference in any hack. Very good idea, it's one of the first First Person Shooter type games I've ever seen someone try to translate to a Side Scrolling Action/Adventure game....

Good luck with both your projects.

Sorry for the confusion.

The Mega Man Hack, and the Chrono Trigger Hack are two seperate projects.

Well wait. Your making a chrono trigger hack, but you want NES style graphics? Or do you want them to be SNES gfx? You have me confused.

Oh no, I am dead serious. Here's another example to show I mean it =]

I'm so use to doing pixel art that things like this take me less than half an hour. Granted I will be blind by the time I'm 30, but oh well. =] I have whole sets for Barney, G-Man, Gordon, 9 different types of grunts, 4 scientists, 4 head crabbed people.

I have some concept of assasins, snark, and head crab. The other aliens need to be worked on though. I was taking a wrong approach before though so I can probably do them fine now.

Well I've been around for a little while and I have already started to work on one Hack for Chrono Trigger that I wish to devote my time to.

However, I am currently sitting on some Half-Life sprites that are based on the MegaMan Sprite.
Note: Pictures are simulated, not in game pictures.

Fake Intro Shot

Fake In-Game using the wrong game. Cute no?

The only problem I have is that I am not all that great with Rom Editing and getting the new sprites and graphics into the game. I could easily handle sprite placement, and level creation. Although I do doubt a flood of offers (and I expect quite a few "do it yourself you lazy ass" comments, which I would agree with) any help would be great.

However, limitations that I am quasi-aware of but not positive about would be the pallete I used (Which I tried to use NES colors exclusivly though) and too many colors per srite tile. I am willing to learn, but I am far more creative and less technical. I don't want someone to just do the work for me, I would do as much as I can. Essentially what I am asking for is a gracious hand to do some graphic stuff for me. Also to hopefully prove some merit in doing pixel art is a link to a web comic I try to update.

If there is a taker I will go full into producing tiles for levels. And hopefully in a short amount of time we could have a full product actually done. Anyone who doesn;t get ragingly mad at me, I thank you.
