Go Go Azumanga Daioh!

And Dracoon, no matter what anyone says about this anime, it's pretty awesome. Everything you've heard in this thread so far is true.

I especially like the Sakaki/cat scenes. They're really cute, but at the same time really sad... Sakaki and Osaka are my favorite characters.

I love Azumanga It looks like it's supposed to appeal to kids at first glance, but I really think it's tackling the young at heart Adults who miss their school days

My favorite characters are Osaka and Tomo, simply because out of all of them, they're the ones I identify with the most. Osaka tends to be very quiet, like I usally am at School. I get distracted very easily and often find myself following a train of though far too far into obscurity.
However, outside school I was alot like Tomo. My parents and my relatives often challenged me to shut up, but they failed every time

this is one of my favorite animes--the Osaka girl is fun to watch and the child genius is cute. It's been so long since i watched it so I don't remember many names :-x

*bump*

I've heard Colin talk about this series a lot, and then I had to hear it from Hiryuu. Then, one day while doing a double at work, one of my co-workers had a DVD that had skits of it, from an anime mag. I watched it, and laughed my ass off. Well, I got my hands on the 2nd DVD in the series, and well, it is good. Can't wait to watch the rest of this anime.

My brother and little sister got me into the series. We watched them on Hong Kong DVDs like a year before they reached US shores.

"Seven" if you don't count the senseis as well. You're looking at Chiyo-chan, Sakaki-san, Osaka-san, Tomo-chan, Kagura-san, Yomi and Kaorin. That's not adding in Kurosawa-sensei and Yukari-sensei neither.

Hell. Of. A series. It's short, but it's concise and to the point...of a loooong large amount of laughter. A cute series really. It's really more branded inbetween the neutral/shoujo take but it's really more crazy than anything else. I like. A lot.

And whaddaya know...Colin actually got me into it...he can impress me sometimes.

It's about these 7(dunno?) girls that go to school, basically. The show really rotates around the characters' personalities. There's like a loud girl, one who's really smart and like 10 years old, a quiet one, a dumb one, and others.

Well for now I'm sticking with Bobobo-bo-bo-bobo, and Shinobodin, but I have heard only good things about this show.

Truthfully though, I have no clue what in the world it's about.

I have heard, that I wouldn't like it, and that it wasn't that great...

Of course this was from an anime hater...

Yes, it is worth checking out. It is not goofy in the same vein as Furi Kuri or Bobobobobobobo, because it's how you say, more realistic? It has some minor shoujo undertones, so I don't know if you would like it. If you don't care about that stuff, then go for it. I don't really know if it's necessary to buy, though.

Okay, I keep hearing an insane amount of hype around this series, mostly about how much of a 10 it is one the goofiness scale.

I have heard quite a bit more about it, so I'll stay straight to the point: What the hell is up with it, and is it really worth checking out?
