I switched all my images to ImageShack so now the problems with the GIFs are fine. Something was up with FreeWebs..and it wasent that its free. Nice crack about the cracking, crackhead. lol. I made a funny. |

I don't really buy the 'we'll buy the real thing if you like the rom". If you can play thru and master the game via rom. With savestates and everything why would you buy it still? It defies logic. It's like saying you will buy an album if you download all the mp3's to the cd and you like it.
Otherwise. I don't have too much problem with SNES and older console roms. In my mind I think they are cool. Many of those games have not seen a rerelease on GBA so it don't hurt Nintendo or anyone I feel. |

Don't get me wrong. I was talking about them old roms like on nes and snes and stuff like that. As for GBA roms, yes they should be more worried about those being that there much newer than the older verions made on Super Nintindo.
Lol. I thought someone would quote me on that one. Yes, I have heard quite a few say the same thing that you just said. "Most would rather play the real thing." Thats nothing new to my ears.
Either way, people don't give a care if they download them or not. People don't even care if there legal or illegal. I don't blame them and didn't say that I did, because it isn't there fault that they download them. Its the people that put them on the net. Its there fault. My real point is. Wether there still in production or not. There still illegal.
Its just that simple. |

Really, who really gives a flying fuck anymore. They aren't losing money because these games aren't even in production anymore. The only ROM's that Nintendo should care about are the GBA's since it would be cutting sales. But it all comes down to the fact that most people would rather play the games on the real thing, and if they like the rom they usually buy the game. |

You see i told them it was illegal and they didnt care, my cousins look up ways for me to get burned cosole games and they think its good.

My mom found out that my 200 or so ROMs were illegal. She confronted me, and I gave her a long explaination of the irrelvancy on their legality and the moral basis and how it wasn't theft, and how the U.S. Supreme Court recently ruled something to the effect of ROMs of games that are no longer in production or sales are legal. When I was almost done she just told me to stop talking and she'd drop it |

My parents really don't care if I download them or not.. But do I download them? Nope, I truly don't.. I guess because I just don't care about them.. Although I have at least 15 at the most.. I don't plan to download more though because of that illegal stuff or whatever.
Do I plan to ever get rid of the roms that I have? I can't say for sure, because there like drugs. People get addicted to them.
By the way. Don't you have them on a cd or somthing.. Like, you can have them on a cd and use the floppy disc as the save states and the srm files.. As for the emulators and stuff. You could just have those on your computer..

My dad says he looked up Lunar Magic on the web and found Mario Roms and shit. And because of a certain FRIEND i will not mention, he knows alot about ROMS and how there illegal. I once tryed explaining I own mostly all my games but hes like any other Dad, "Ohh, I dont give to flying f's if its legal cuase u own it, its taking up space!(on a new 120 gig HDD!)" So hes got his excuses. Any SMW suggestions? Im really bored.... |
