"That was one of the best fights I've ever seen. Awesome job, both of you. Jarukoth, you were the offender, DarkSlaya you were the defender. Offense and defense go together like yin and yang. Jarukoth, it was close, but I'll say you earn my vote this time, BECAUSE you kept your opponent on his toes the entire time. That's not easy to do; in fact I bet you're the only one in the galaxy who could manipulate his foe so well. Kudos. But kudos to you as well, DarkSlaya; someday we may have a fight of our own." |

DarkSlaya: I guess I can permit myself to waste this armor.
DarkSlaya stood there, letting the attack destory his wooden armor. However, when
the chackra energy pierced throught the armor, DarkSlaya took back his lance and pulled the attack back.
DarkSlaya: Thank you. I must say that this armor wasn't comfortable. Now, I shall revert back to my old armor.
As soon as he said it, his old armor appeared out of nowhere and began to protect DarkSlaya once again. |

As DarkSlaya came down, he hit one clone, instantly vaporizing the Bunshin.
Jarukoth: "This is it..."
One of the other Jarukoths opens his palm, and gathers a large amount of chakra energy around in his hand. The chakra gathers and whirls in his palm, until it forms the shape of an orb, spinning with increasing power and ferocity.
The Jarukoth lept at DarkSlaya as he came back down to thier level. If the Wooden Armor was anything like the tree from before, hopefully Jarukoth's pure energy attack would be able tear it apart...
Jarukoth: "Here it comes...RASENGAN!!!"

DarkSlaya: I love to have good luck.
Since he couldn't take his lance, DarkSlaya drew his sword to defend himself. Though he was surprised by the attack, he kept smiling. He then jumped in the air to prevent the Jarukoths to touch him.
DarkSlaya: This is....surprising. But I can handle it... I won't run away.
DarkSlaya (thinking): Because if I would, I'd lose.
He headed down, toward the Jarukoth, like a rocket would do. |

Jarukoth barely has time to turn around before the lance impales him, spearing him right through. A second later, "he" vanishes in a puff of smoke.
Suddenly, his voice can be heard from an unknown location...
Jarukoth: "DarkSlaya, you're more correct in your assumptions than you realize. Yes, you DO talk too much, which gave me the time to prepare this little number. I call it...Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!"
Suddenly, six Jarukoths erupt from the ground around DarkSlaya, and leap at him, ready to slice him up with thier now drawn swords. |

DarkSlaya (thinking): He probably has. Anyway, I shouldn't let the attack touch me, even if I know I can easily handle it... Won't do the same mistake than Reydam.
The fire was gone from the lance, and the small fire shield disappeared. The lance returned to it's form that looked like it was made of wood.
Earth Magic - Wood Armor
DarkSlaya's armor became a wooden one. When the lighting hit, it was negated by it and DarkSlaya was more than happy to see that it worked.
DarkSlaya (thinking): Good... wasn't sure this would work.
Then, DarkSlaya heard Reydam talk to him, again.
Reydam (talking to DarkSlaya telepaticly): What a wimp. Come on, you could've easily absorbed the attack by yourself!
DarkSlaya (to Reydam): Is that so? When did I ask for your opinion? Last time you fooled around like this, you were badly injured. THat's in these time that I'm wondering why you and...
Another voice was heard, however it wasn't only in DarkSlaya's mind.
???: NO!!!
DarkSlaya: Of course, I won't say your name to our friend there. Please, try and shut Reydam up.
DarkSlaya (to Jarukoth): Again, sorry about this. But these two are like brothers, they always have to fight. Of course they are more than brothers.... they are close to being the same. Since you wanted to know more... Reydam isn't a part of me. He has power similar to mine, but that's because of his other half. The person we heard was his other half.... and I think you already met him somewhere. Awwww.... I'm talking too much, again.
DarkSlaya looked at Jarukoth another time. His opponant seemed to use all kinds of spells he didn't know much about. He had to figure out his fighting style, or else he'd lose. He decided to go on.... on the attack.
Earth Magic - Four Leaf Clover
A four leaf clover hovered around DarkSlaya, then his lance disapeared.
DarkSlaya: Good, my luck isn't failing me. Look behing you!
DarkSlaya's lance reapeared behing Jarukoth and won't toward him at an high speed. |

Since the icy shards were no longer reinforced with Jarukoth's energies, they are easily melted by the fire's intense heat.
Jarukoth normally wouldn't be concerned, but his main idea of causing an internal conflict within DarkSlaya and Reydam had failed. Perhaps some more direct attacks would cause it to occur again...
"Bolt2!"
The spell may be a bit old fashioned, but the intensity of the electrical spell as it screamed at DarkSlaya reassured Jarukoth of it's effectiveness. |

Fire Magic - Flame Lance
The fire was back around DarkSlaya's hands. However, it quickly got on his lance. When the fire was all taking place on it, DarkSlaya swept it in the shard's direction. He didn't know if it would melt them down, but at least the fire that would remain in the air would protect him for a few seconds.

Jarukoth: "This isn't working..."
Jarukoth dispels his attack, and makes the two mirrors shatter as DarkSlaya crashes through the third one.
With his Sharingan, he notices DarkSlaya...talking to himself? Then, he begins to recall an incident back at the sign ups...
Back at the Tournament Sign Ups...
???: I'm taking over.
Suddenly, a flash of light devoured Reydam and a person appeared. He appeared slighty older than Reydam, and his aura was more evil.
???: I'm called DarkSlaya, and I shall join this tournament instead of Reydam. He is in no condition of fighting.
Could it be Schizophrenia? Two opposites sharing a body? Whatever the condition, it gave him an idea as his next attack was being prepped...
Using his chakra, he levitates the shards of ice that once littered the ground into the air. With snap of his fingers, the razor sharp shards go flying in DarkSlaya's general direction.
Jarukoth: "I'm glad you took over, DarkSlaya. After all, there's no way a fool like Reydam would be able to keep up with fighters of our caliber..." |

DarkSlaya: No, sorry. I'm not into this stuff.
He made a Pure Energy Sabre and cut the tree. In the middle of it was a javelin. DarkSlaya didn't wait a moment and took it with him, and began moving it fast enough to block the two blasts that were orignially heading for the tree while he didn't have to worry about the third one, as in his actions he dodge it.
DarkSlaya: Why would you attack a tree as pure as this one? Your attack wouldn't have done much to it, I fear. The only thing that'd harm it would've been what I did: a Pure Energy attack. Anyway, I think that if I'd continue to explain this to you, you'd begin to sleep soon enough. While this would be great to win a fight, this wouldn't be fun at all, wouldn't it.
??? (voice only heard by DarkSlaya): What the heck are you doing, idiot!
DarkSlaya (only heard by the person who talked to him): Shut it! There's a reason why I wouldn't let you fight, fool.
After this little problem, DarkSlaya gazed at Jarukoth and jumped at him with his newly aquired javelin.
DarkSlaya: Sorry for the little delay, but I had some problems to take care of. |

The eruption of the tree shattered all but three mirrors surrounding DarkSlaya, his confident expression now returned. His head now back in the game, Jarukoth works on on his next move. The images in the final mirrors form hand seals, and then...

[Dragon Fire Blast]
Taking no chances, the images of Jarukoth breathe the powerful fire blast at thier enemy. Two of the images launch thier attacks at the tree, while the third mirror sends it's blast directly at DarkSlaya...

Earth Magic - Gaia's Tree
Suddently, the earth began to shake and a powerful wind came out of DarkSlaya's stick, strong enough to stop the shurikens. Then, the stick became a tree, a strange one.
DarkSlaya: I don't see an attack anymore, do you? Anyway, I'm sure you're wondering about what the heck is that tree, right? This is my weapon. Well, kinda.
DarkSlaya jumped on the tree and charged his power for a new attack.
DarkSlaya: This tree makes this arena a little more colored, don't you think?
He was obviously making fun of Jarukoth, in a way. |

DarkSlaya's punch shattered the mirror reletively easily...perhaps too easily? Jarukoth's Sharingan whirled with a hint of confident delight as the images drew something from his BioArmor...
Jarukoth: "Wouldn't want to get caught off guard, right?"
Suddenly, all the images of Jarukoth each throw a trio of shuriken from each remaining mirror right at DarkSlaya! |

DarkSlaya (thinking): I still have to figure out how to destroy those mirrors. Wouldn't want to get caugh off guard.
He took his stick and put it in the ground. One would expect something to happen, but nothing moved. Nothing could be heard. Nothing at all. DakrSlaya then gazed at the mirrors and then tried to look at Jarukoth.
DarkSlaya: I think I'm getting what these mirrors do. It still doesn't matter, as I have the perfect idea to get rid of them.
Fire Magic - Flaming Dance
Fire was getting out from DarkSlaya's body, to go around his arms. After a moment, the flames were circling around his hands, at a good pace.
DarkSlaya: Can you see this, Jarukoth? This is a fire that is as intense as our fight will soon get!
DarkSlaya jumped to the first mirror, ready to give a punch with his flaming hands. He didn't know what was gonna happen, as he wasnt completly sure of how the mirror would react. |

Jarukoth finally lands, and thinks of his next move. Suddenly, it dawns on him...
Jarukoth: "Wait a sec...there is ice all around us. It may be a bit too early to try this move, but I'll take it now, while the ice is still here..."
"Makyou Hyoushou!"
[Demoic Ice Mirrors]
Jarukoth then slowly fades and dissolves into the ice below, as chunks of ice rise up and hover around DarkSlaya. Those ice chunks soon flatten, and form the shape of large, full body mirrors. Five ice mirrors surround DarkSlaya on all sides, while two more hang above him, all containing the images of Jarukoth staring back at him.
Jarukoth: "Now then, let's see if you can figure out how my little mirror trick works..." |

DarkSlaya (thinking): Ice ain't gonna do anything to this attack.... I need to find another...
As DarkSlaya was thinking, he realised to the attack was done alot faster then he expected. He used his staff to block. However, the weapon that served as a shield could only break into and come back to it's form of stick. The attack had enough power to actually send DarkSlaya flying and then falling on the ice to finally slide on the former.
DarkSlaya: Ouch...
DarkSlaya (thinking): Gotta think of something.
DarkSlaya looked at where there was no ice. He then had the perfect idea,
DarkSlaya: Don't worry, Jarukoth. Your opponant is still alive and well. Let's continue this.
DarkSlaya flew to where there was dirt. He stood there, doing nothing. But infact he was preparing an attack, still with his stick in hands.

Jarukoth: "Of course not! I just wait for you to make new ones..."
As Jarukoth begins to decend down at DarkSlaya, he focuses a large concentration of chakra in his hand. The energy built to a high enough concentration to make his hand appear as if it was brightly crackling with electricity. Jarukoth begins falling right on DarkSlaya, with his arm outstretched at him. The attack moves at such a speed, that it makes the sound of 1000 birds fluttering.
For some reason, Jarukoth hadn't used the move in some time, but the piercing power of the move could never be denied...

DarkSlaya quickly put his stick in the thin ice. At the same moment, it became a staff.... staff of ice.
Ice Magic - Ice Shield
DarkSlaya lifted his staff in the air, and the ice below him went up, thus creating a shield protecting DarkSlaya from any harm.
DarkSlaya: I have to say, I was surprised by your attack. However, don't expect me to the same mistake all over again. |

Jarukoth secretly hoped that DarkSlaya's brief hiatus would cause him to make a foolish move or two, but his his type of action could easily argue otherwise... In any case, Jarukoth lept high into the air to easily dodge the dash, as he drew some shuriken from his armor.

As Jarukoth threw the shuriken down at DarkSlaya, they instantly multiplied, sending a rain of razor sharp shuriken down at DarkSlaya. |
