Ooops, forgot about the thread though the problem still lingers.
HH: No. I use the local cable company's internet service, which is surprisingly pretty good. It's like this every single time I start the computer, and this wasn't a problem until recently. |

Do you use MSN for an ISP by any chance? |

I've had problems with MSN and Hotmail too... It's normally OK after a few minutes, but it's still annoying. I guess that either they're upgrading the system or the server is too buzy... |

My guess would just be the MSN servers. This happens sometimes here too. MSN tries to load and tries to load and then a little screen pops up saying server not found or something like that. And www.hotmail.com just keeps trying to load forever Strangely Microsoft.com is never down when this happens |

We have a cable connection that's always connected from when we turn the computer on, if that's of any relevance.
In the first five minutes after I turn hte computer on, I can't access anything MSN related, which includes MSN messenger. Messenger can't connect, the site can't be found, but every other site works fine. And a few minutes later, MSN's fine.
It's not that big a problem, but it's a bit of an annoyance. We didn't have this problem until recently... |
