I believe the cap on character levels was 9999 in Disgaea. I think enemies could go higher. |

Not necessarily. There are ways to powerlevel your characters with ease, and usually you don't end up with teams of characters that are above level 1000, just one single character.
Unless you take the time to level them up, anyway.... |

I've heard your characters can surpass level 1,000 in some of these kind of games. . .
Jesus? They must be pretty long then. |

There's also a lot of people who took the time to work out all of the formulae and wrote out every single bit of information on Disgaea in guides which are also FREE. They can be found on gamefaqs. ]=( |

Yeah, its really a shame that I ruined La Pucelle with Disgaea. They should have released them in the order in which they came out, then I would probably be able to appreciate it much much more.
Oh, with Disgaea, the offical guide for the game is in a psd format for FREE now. I don't have the link off hand but I could get it any one is interested. |

Eh, La Pucelle was pretty good but I like Disgaea much more. If you play both, go with La Pucelle first and then Disgaea. That way, you'll be working your way UP in quality. |

Disgaea is really good. You should check out the trailers they have at atlus' site they have for the game and view the crazy moves/numbers all over the screen.
I am going to pick up phantom brave definately, but before that I want to actually play through La Pucelle Tactics first since its been collecting dust. |

Go with Disgaea. It's chock full of badassery and I highly doubt you'll be disapointed. |

So sue me.
Be on the look out for Atlus's upcoming Stellas Deus, it's looking totally awesome. Check Gametrailers.com for trailers, and RPGfan for news. Probably the best graphics I've ever seen in an SRPG, and the musics pretty kickin'. |

Um. Phantom Brave is newer than Disgaea. |

From what I've noticed on other places, it depends.
If you're wanting a more serious game go with Phantom Brave.

Both SRPG's, but both are awesome. Just depends.

My brother found good deals for both games. Which one is better and what's good about it? |
