I think they're out of bandwidth....
When I was on the website, they said they removed their download of .Net Frameworks because their bandwidth was getting away too fast. |

You need to have .NET installed, and it tends to be an XP only thing too.
But it was still worth a mention. It's okay for a few basic things, the stuff that MS Paint sucked at.... |

But thank you to find a paint clone program. I always wanted something more advanced as MS paint but not blown up as Gimp. Sometimes I just like to do a few quick things, and GIMP takes some time to load up. (and photoshop is even worser in this department...)
I hope the website is up tomorrow, or I should just look for mirrors... |

Oh, it was such a hard decision to make whether I should put this here or in Hardware Software...
Paint.net
Paint.NET is a free raster graphics program, kinda meant as a replacement to the existing MS Paint. It has Photoshop-esque features, such as layers, etc, and is basically a simple graphics editor.
It's free, and has an easy to use interface.
Has anybody used this software? I'm playing with it now, and it's certainly a crapload better than MS Paint!
If anybody's interested in a free, simple graphics app, this is pretty good. Much easier to use than the free, open source GIMP.... |
