The Hammer with 4 hits.

I don't even know if there's a hammer, but what's the difference between a Real guess and a Random guess when both are wrong?

Ah, but how many hits does it take to kill it with the Boomerang?

Oh, and I want this revived too :x

The boomerang. It kills pretty much everything else.

EDIT: Bump, yeah, but maybe I want this resurrected.

I'm gonna say bomb-arrows and two hits.

Well, according to the rules, HyperHacker gets the two Rupees.. O.o''

Score:
~~~~~
Kyouji Craw - 12 Rupees
Karadur - 8 Rupees
Ailure - 5 Rupees
Emptyeye - 4 Rupees
NSNick - 4 Rupees
Synneth Relmn - 4 Rupees
Grey - 3 Rupees
Tamias - 2 Rupees
HyperHacker - 2 Rupees
Gywall - 1 Rupee
Kario - 1 Rupee
windwaker - 1 Rupee
DarkSlaya - 1 Rupee
42 - What weapons are most effective against the Hinox in Link's Awakening and for an extra Rupee, how many hits would he take (there's three Hinoxes but they're all the same, don't worry)?
Well, if we're going for overworld monsters, I'll say 13.
Only the second Eyegore shoots lasers, and that doesn't mean that the Rocklops is not the same enemy. Trust me, it's the same, the official Japanese names for the monsters are the same.
Enemies evolve and change. In TLoZ, Armos was a relatively normal looking stone soldier that carried a spear and wandered around fairly randomly. In ALttP they're statues on plinths with swords instead of spears and bounce after you.
As far as change goes, Eyegore didn't really change that much.
EDIT: Oh, and spot the similarities between the Beamos and the Rocklops in ALttP? That's presumably where Eyegore got it's laser from, because they're sort of 'related'.
And I can't accept your answer even if any of those were right, Kyouji. O.o'' No edits, that's thar rules.
Eyegore shoots lasers out his eye if you don't get there fast enough. The cyclops does not.
And I count 8, I'm probably wrong though.
Edit: I know editing isn't supposed to be allowed but I just remembered an enemy I hadn't counted originally, the Zoras. So 9.
Edit2: And then the leevers and moblins. 13.
Edit3: Er, I had mistaken your saying rocks don't count to mean that armos don't count. So 14
Aw, c'mon, Stone Tower Temple is the best. Great Bay Temple is the most annoying.
*stabs himself* I didn't know which enemy your were talking about, else that'd be easy (I play MM to death, but I always hated that stupid Stone Tower Temple, or whatver it's called). anyway, I'm happy with my score of 1
To be frank, it's not *like* an Eyegore, it *is* an Eyegore.
Score:
~~~~~
Kyouji Craw - 12 Rupees
Karadur - 8 Rupees
Ailure - 5 Rupees
Emptyeye - 4 Rupees
NSNick - 4 Rupees
Synneth Relmn - 4 Rupees
Grey - 3 Rupees
Tamias - 2 Rupees
Gywall - 1 Rupee
Kario - 1 Rupee
windwaker - 1 Rupee
DarkSlaya - 1 Rupee

41 - 2 Rupees again. How many overworld foes (different colours included) are there in the original Zelda, ignoring the rocks?

Hmmm... I know this one... It's somewhere in Zora's Domain, I know that... *goes to check*

It's right in front of King Zora.

Edit: Dammit.

That gossip stone's in front of King Zora

As far as my last answer to the previous question, I guess it's from the rest of the questions you asked about Link's Awakening I know the enemies you're talking about that were like Eyegore now, and I do feel like kicking myself

Firstly, since when was there a Dark World in Link's Awakening? A Link to the Past, I believe you'll find. Rather major error, that. O.o'' Tempted to take a Rupee off you, lol.

Secondly, you're going to kick yourself now when I tell you. It's the Rocklops from A Link to the Past, most commonly seen in the Eastern Palace, the statues with one eye that chase you and are weak to the Bow. I would of probably accepted a description of the foe if nobody could remember the name but nobody could even get the monster right.

Score:
~~~~~
Kyouji Craw - 12 Rupees
Karadur - 6 Rupees
Ailure - 5 Rupees
Emptyeye - 4 Rupees
NSNick - 4 Rupees
Synneth Relmn - 4 Rupees
Grey - 3 Rupees
Tamias - 2 Rupees
Gywall - 1 Rupee
Kario - 1 Rupee
windwaker - 1 Rupee
DarkSlaya - 1 Rupee
40 - Two Rupees for this. A 'Gossip Stone' in OoT tells you that the 'Hold' method of Z Targeting is for 'real Zelda players'. Where is this stone?
I've got one guess left, and seeing as nobody else is guessing, I might as well try. Is it a Hinox, from the Dark World of Link's Awakening?
It's not exactly the same as an Eyegore, in that you can hurt it by simply slashing it with your sword, instead of hitting it in the eye, and it doesn't look the same, but it's still as good a guess as any, if you ask me
Well, it is the same monster, just in a different game and with a different name, yes.
This is a long thread. Click here to view it.
