Yeah, gravity is implemented with jumping.
I'm working on spicing up the graphics (tis a bit hard when you have limited graphic ability ). It's supposed to have kind of a hand drawn work, and plus I'm kind of a minimilist. So, spiced up for me is drab for someone else, prettyt much. But, like I said before, I'm working on it. |

Eh... The story sounds alright. The graphics could be spiced up a little more. You can use photoshop or something to help make it happen.
Did you manage to put in gravity or jumping? Everytime I do for a platformer, my guy tends to stick to the ceilings all the time. |

Psitzko is a game I am creating that I am actually serious and OC about.
It is being developed in Game Maker.
Here is a screenshot: A Graphics/Basic Engine Test
Ignore some graphical glitches, those will be fixed, that's just all I have to show for it at this point.
Basically, the story is the same old "Save your girlfriend from the clutches of Satan", except your character (Psitzko) looks like a cross between Bomb Jack and Bomberman. Oh, and he does throw bombs too.
As for gameplay, it's kinda like a mix between Metroid and Bomberman, with some RPG elements thrown in.
So, far there are 8 or 9 areas in the underworld.
I'll keep updating as development go on, maybe release a demo. Things like that. |
