The wyvern managed to dodge relatively unharmed by changing direction quickly. The wyvern came back for another attack, this time baring its teeth.

"I don't have time for this..."

Dracoon thrusted her spear upwards as the bird came down for its series of attacks. She thought she'd aimed perfectly, but she missed and the bird slashed her across the face. She feel backwards and flipped up, managing to dodge the other hits, but she almsot fell to the ground again.

"I guess I just have to go with it!"

Dracoon readied herself for a jumped combo, that would look somewhat like Mario, but higher.

"Jump! High Jump! Super Jump!"

Dracoon jumped into the air, very high, and landed where Grey was standing. As soon as she hit the ground, she took off again in another high jump, landing again where Grey is now standing, unless he moved. As soon as Dracoon hit the ground, she flew up again, but she didn't come down...

OOC Battle not over, she's just unreachable unless you can fly or something.

Grey: "Falcon Assault."

Birdon screeched loudly, and as Grey dashed into the path of the wyvern, countering with a rapid-fire salvo of arrows that flew almost as fast as his feet stepped, Birdon rose high into the air! Going into a swift dive at Dracoon, the falcon's talons raked toward her as it darted back and forth in a flurry of small but sharp hits!

"Spirit Link!"

A chain of light shot form Dracoon towards her wyvern, as the attack hit the wyvern seemed to have taken a direct hit, but when the attack cleared, the wyvern shook off the arrows and charged towards Grey. Dracoon had fallen to a knee and looked hurt.

"This isn't over... I'll win..."

Dracoon staggered up and walked slowly towards Grey, while the wyvern continued to charge.

Grey: "Wind Walk."

In a burst of green light, Birdon was back on Grey's shoulder, and the two moved like the namesake element of the evasive technique! He rolled off the ground, out of the way of the thrusts and onto his feet, catching the bird on his shoulder as arcs of lightning raced over its head! Dashing hurriedly over the massive (and rather peacefully sleeping) body of Charles Schwabb, and taking cover behind his equally massive pushcart, Grey wordlessly loaded his crossbow with a rather oversized flabtraption of silver-tipped arrows. He waited until the wyvern's lightning finished trying to turn his feathered friend into a chicken sandwich, and stood out from behind the cart!

"Arrow Shower."

About 9 or 10 arrows were sent flying at the same time at the wyvern!

OOC Remember this is Dracoon from FFXI, Mithra, Female only.

Dracoon didn't flip, but stood straight up on her spear, doing a hand stand. She managed to keep her balance, take her spear out of the bow grapple, and land on her feet with the spear still in her hand. She turned around and thrusted at Grey, hoping to get him while he was still on the ground, but in an instant her one thrust turned into two and both headed right for Grey!

"You have to do better than that."

Dracoon's wyvern shot out lightning from its mouth, but the lightning wasn't normal, it chained around the area trying to get the bird.

"Let me explain... Everytime I do a Weapon Skill, my wyvern uses a breath attack."

Grey: "Blitz Beat."

Birdon, at this command, flew towards the wyvern at a blinding speed! Taking a straight course upward just before meeting the wyvern, he turned sharply downward, and began strafing at an incredible rate, back and forth across the area the wyvern was flying around in!

Grey, meanwhile, used the effects of Improve Concentration well. His reflexes increased, he drew out a crossbow from his backpack, and raised it in front of him, catching the spear within the bow's limbs. he dropped to the bround, slid beneath Dracoon's legs, and tried to flip Dracoon over his head with the grappling effect of his bow and her spear locked together!

"You could have at least attacked. I mean come on, I'm hurt over here, you wasted the perfect chance!"

Dracoon jumped up into the air and landed in front of Grey. At the same time her Wyvern flew towards the bird trying to tackle it into the ground. Dracoon did a spear thrust towards Grey, so he wouldn't try to save his feathered friend from her Wyvern.

OOC Sorry about both of my post's length, but I'm off today I think.

From within his personal backpack, Grey withdrew several strange looking items...

A small pink hat, which he placed atop his head. A pair of old, withered gloves, which he slid over his hands. A ruff, which he tied around his neck, and a pair of shoes, which he replaced his current pair with.

Grey: "........"

The silent warrior closed his eyes, though behind his sunglasses this was hardly discernable. He placed his hands together, and suddenly uttered two words, and just two words. Birdon screeched upon his shoulder, and beat his wings impatiently.

"Improve Concentration."

A strange orange light surrounded his feet, grew upward, and enveloped him in its rays!

Dracoon was laying on her back, injured to say the least. Her suicide attack, took a lot more out of her than she had hoped for.

"Ohhhhh... That hurt... Only one to go though... I can take him... Just after... Job Change..."

The lights that had accompanied it before were reduced to mere sparks, but Dracoon stood up, as a Dragoon. A small wyvern flew to her side, but as soon as it came she collapsed. She was hurt, a lot, and this last fight would prove to be harder than any other.

"I'll let you attack first this time... I don't want to finish this to quickly..."

Dracoon managed to stand up, but she was beathing heavily, she had used so much energy, that even breathing seemed to be a chore.

The light enveloped both of them, throwing them apart with its power! When it faded, Garro lay smoking on the ground, defeated.

Garro: "I.... think I need a priest of my own..."

Grey: "......"

Grey scanned the area around him, searching for Dracoon...

"Heh just what I was waiting for!"

Dracoon seemed to become MUCH faster, as she ran towards Garro and jumped over and behind him, she put him in a full nelson, and waited for the attack to hit. She knew it wouldn't damage him much, but using a human shield is always good.

OOC I'm assuming the attack will home onto Dracoon...

Garro: "Ack! I bruise easily! Heal!!!"

The signature White Mage move, the blood coming from his mouth was quickly staunched in a flow of green light that emitted from Garro's feet upward. However, Dracoon's attempt to handstand off of him was thwarted by Garro's own horrible physical strength, as his legs gave out at the slightest possibility of weight and he tumbled to the ground.

Scrambling to his feet and out of the way of Dracoon's downward kick, Garro placed his hands together and began praying...

"O lord, we ask thee to impart thy might upon this sinner, and in thy providence guide him to the side of righteousness! Holy Light!!!"

From the heavens, a cross-shaped beam of light fired downward at Dracoon!

Grey: *raises an eyebrow*

"ARRRGGHH Counter Stance!"

Dracoon quickly changed her stance into a more defencive one and blocked the first of the wand attack, she struck back at Garro. She jumped away, and threw her head up laughing.

"You don't think you can really win do you? I have so much more power to unleash... Let's see how you like this for instance."

Dracoon jumped in as close to Garro as she could get, basically rubbing against him, and grabbed him around the head. She attempted to lift up off his head handstanding on his shoulders and comming down with a hard kick.

As the barrier of Kyrie Elison absorbed all of Dracoon's hits, Garro brought his staff to bear with her foot, levering it away and stepping back a few feet.

Garro: "Simple! I'm a priest. I use the power of God to make myself and my friends stronger. Everything I cast on my allies I can cast on myself, after all..."

He uses his increased speed to zoom at Dracoon again, swatting at him with several quick whips of his wand!

"And yes, yes I do think my faith will save me."

"Whoa!"

Dracoon was hit and stumbled forward, but she turned around and attempted to attack with a flury of punches.

"I don't know how you got behind me, but it won't save you!"

Dracoon finished the combo up with a high kick. Dracoon had become worried about Grey, not knowing what he could be and why he waited. Not to mention, Dragoon was the only workable job she had left...

All that stood before her was Garro, who had been quite troublesome thus far, and the ever-silent Grey, with Birdon perched upon his shoulder. Grey took a step back, and Garro moaned hopelessly.

Garro: "Figures... What do I do?"

He takes out a small purple wand and disheartedly waves it in the air, casting several spells on himself...

"Blessing... Increase Agility... Kyrie Elison... Magnificat... Assumptio... There, you happy?"

He looks back at Grey, who smiles and nods.

Garro: *sigh*

A splitsecond later, Garro is behind Dracoon, swinging his wand in a blackjack to the head!

Dracoon found her self rolling upside down and landing heavily on her back. She looked at the mage, knowing that she hadn't really hurt him all that much took how he was laying as a surrender.

"Idiot... I figured you'd at least no how to ration your magic... Anyways... who's next?"

Garro: "Kyrie Elison!!!"

A green light flowed around Kalar as a physical barrier protected him from the brunt of Dracoon's assault! Meanwhile, Kalar kept casting rapidly!

Kalar: "StormGustJupiterThunderMeteorSto--"

The ice and lightning managed to fling themselves at Dracoon, but the meteors sorta got fizzled out as Kalar was casting their spell. It was about then that his mana stores ran out...

Kalar: "Well, shit."

Rather than risk being annihilated by Dracoon's assault, Kalar set himself sprawling on the ground, and played dead.

Garro: "Ah, crap. I guess that leaves just me... And Grey..."

Grey: "....."

Dracoon is hit by the lightning, ice, and water. All directly, but she is still standing. The spells did do plently of damage, but it wasn't enough to kill her.

"Lucky shot, but prepare yourself... I'm about to unleash the most powerful skill ever! Hundred Fists!!!"

Dracoon ran towards Kalar again, but with a lot more speed. She started to punch, and didn't stop. She had next to no time between her attacks and she was punching hard to. A massive increase in speed, with out affecting strength, is helpful.

And THAT's when Kalar starts casting...

Kalar: "Fire Wall!!! Storm Gust!!! Jupiter Thunder!!!"

The three spells activate almost at once! As a wall of flames erupts from the ground around Kalar and Garro, blocking the chi blast, a cold wind swirls around them as well, sending massive shards of ice and water at Dracoon! The third spells aims a ball of thunder at him HER!

Garro: "Kalar, are you sure you want to keep casting like this? You're gonna run out of mana REALLY quickly if you do... Instacast or no instacast, you still are bound by the limits of your own magical abilities. And the faster you cast, the faster you'll run out of power!"

Kalar: "Relax! I know what I'm doing!"

Kalar, in fact, had no idea...
