Well, the flowers kinda help. I think they cancel out weeds too (one flower = one weed go baibai), but I plant three per acre.

And it gives you the axe after AT LEAST two weeks. I think it took me three... not sure. But if you don't get it after fourteen perfect days, just keep waiting. Maybe it's that you've got too many weeds? Try a-pullin'.

I just have alot of flowers in my town... that works for me. How much flowers do you really have?

I do have quite some trees, but apparently I only got "too many trees" thing once. Heh.

I know exactly how to make it perfect, but the message keeps switcing between it needs a bit more effort, and that I don't have enough trees. I eliiminate the touching trees and replace them, but then it switches to not enough. I plant more and it switches to touching trees again. It really is annoying.

Golden axe is just easy. Keep the town in perfect condition in two weeks and ask the wishing well each day for the condition of the town. If there is a problem in the town, fix it.

After two weeks you get the Golden axe.

That was a glitch, this isn't. (And I did prove what I read false. Problem was what I read wasn't the correct method. Someone should just like open that thread again or something so I can post a better explanation there instead of every single time someone brings it up. )

Anyway, HH is right. It dosen't make sense to have something mature in a Nintendo game and I just tried to hit the big tree beside the fountain. That tree seems to be made out of stone, and I did hit it ten times...

And besides, "Mad mode unlocked" dosen't sound very Animal crossing stylish. Not at all.

Besides, his spelling is classical for "Find Luigi in SM64" rumours.

Lastly... this is quite easy to do after all eh? If it was true, everyone would know it by now... it's not hidden as that Mew bug in the orginal Pok

A Krazy World (rated M)

If the game contained an R-rated secret, it would be rated R. And Nintendo doesn't put R-rared secrets in E-rated games.

take a shovel and dig thru the roof of Nooks store (it will get glichy and take a while to load)

If this is an intentional secret, why would it be glitchy?

Most of this 'secret' is false, so one can assume that it is entirely BS.

I know you asked for screenshots, but I'll look for some after I post this. Here's what I found in a quick google search for "animal crossing gamecube mad mode screenshots":

No Good World:: Animal Crossing gone mad

Games: Animal Crossing

A Krazy World (rated M) called Animal Shootout (I SWEAR IT WORKS!)

First, Obtain the golden axe by keeping your town rating perfect for 14 days.
Next, equipt the golden axe and chop down the wishing well (it takes 10 chops)
Then, it will say MAD MODE UNLOCKED
the tree will turn into a ladder.pick it up. put it in front of nooks. climb it. take a shovel and dig thru the roof of Nooks store (it will get glichy and take a while to load) once inside you can steal stuff (mwaahahahahahahaaaaa............mwaha.....haha..ha)

ONLY GO TO NOOKS WHEN IT IS CLOSED OR NOOK WILL CATCH YOU

I'm running out of tyme so i'll post more info on gone mad mode later!

You can take a look at the original site here. It claims that the above is 100% true, but you'd have to try it to see for yourself

Edit: I wasn't able to find any screenshots of this, so unless someone else has more luck than me, I don't think you'll be able to see what it's like unless you can get it to work

I heard about a mad mode in animal crossing. It is said to happen when you take about 10 swings with the golden axe on the wishing well tree. Does anyone know if it's true?

PS: Please don't tell me it is without screenshots!
