I don't actively seek it out, but if I see it on then I definitely watch. The animation is simplistic and gorgeous, the sound is sparse and gorgeous, and the plots are wacky but...well...gorgeous  . Really, Samurai Jack's a ton of fun. |

I don't care what anybody says about it. Samurai Jack is just plain cool.
My favorite ep. would have to be when he gets captured in the forest and forced to fight in an arena for the enjoyment of others.
"Are you ready for pain, Two Sandels!?!"
He ends up defeating the best warriors and sets all the slaves who were meant to fight in there free. |

Samurai Jack, I like very much. Even though Jack is not really that much of a samurai. He specializes in many different martial arts, which is what I like. Especially that episode where he's like a ninja. One of my favorite characters is the Scotsman. Oh, btw, this IS NOT an anime. |

Samurai Jack is great. I have the dvd movie of the first 3 episodes, Countless episodes on tape, and I am going to buy the season 1 dvd this may. Oh yeah and the game is out. |

I remember back when I used to be a member of a message board full of Samurai Jack fangirls, and even today, I still think he's pretty hot for a fictional character. Plus I have a hard time not liking a guy that can decapitate a few dozen robots, then turn around and still take time to pet a little kitten on the street. But I'm sure no one really wanted to know that 
Seriously, the artwork, animation and especially the background music are beautiful. The fighting scenes range from mediocre to ones that just absolutely leave one breathless. My favorite was one where Aku tried to corner Jack in a graveyard...man, I don't think I've ever seen a better zombie fight before or since. =) I don't like ALL the episodes - there have been some where, at the end, my general reaction was "WTF?" But overall, the episodes hit way more often than they miss. Yesh, I still love this show. Long live Samurai Jack. *^^ * |

Another episdoe I loved was the one where the monkey guys teach him to jump high...

All the episodes kick ass. There was this one episode, every Jack was in this desert town that had been shot up, and then all these dark robots (not just robots, NINJA ROBOTS) appear, and they've got all these badass weapons - one's got a chaingun, one has a flamethrower, one has grenades, one's got a katana, etc. All in all, there's ten of them, and they're out trying to ruin Jack's shit. So he finds this scientist who built the robots, and he wants to ruin Aku's shit, so he gives Jack this badass power arm, and then Jack goes back to the robots and ruins their shit. But before he beats the fuck out of the tenth robot (the one with the katana), his power arm runs out of power. So he gets his ass beaten by the robot, and then he starts praying, and this giant beam of light comes down out of the sky and Jack's sword turns white, and then he cuts the robot in half and ruins his shit. |

Okay, I've never seen this show before, and I've only heard a couple of things about it... but I saw an episode the other day, episode XL if I remember right, and it KICKED GIANT FUCKING MOUNDS OF ASS. It was like, these robot lobster things, and Jack ruined their shit. Then he had to go underwater and he kicked more ass. And then he went into this tower, and it was dark, and he rescued the fuck out of this kid, and he fought this shadow dude, and then it was all black and white, and they were all blending in, and then the shadow dude got his shit ruined as well.
If all the episodes kick as much ass as that one did, this show would convince me to give in and get cable. That is, if I slipped even a little bit in my resolve not to give a shit about TV. But that's unlikely to happen. |
