Definately Yami No Matsuei.

It has such a variety of things in it, the characters have so many sides to them and really develop over the course of the manga. While there is action and fighting, there's also a lot of playfullness, humor, and seriousness. It just has so many different aspects to it I can't list them all. And as far as the artwork goes . . . wow. Just wow. The whole manga is beautiful, but the last few books are just really amazing.

I've kinda turned into a crazed fan girl because of this manga, although I won't go into details.

Hmm..Snow Drop, Fruits Basket, and Boys Over Flowers is pretty good. They all have a certain humor to them. Fruits Basket is cute. All of those have good characters and story lines.

Ranma is good too, I've only read the first 2 volumes though

At the moment, definitely Fruits Basket. The characters are great, and the character development is good also. The only character that doesn't really change is the heroine -- but she changes everybody around her.

I'm enjoying Cardcaptor Sakura manga too, it's cute.

What is everyone's all-time favorite manga? Any why?

What do you usually like in a book or manga? Like action, character development, mystery, etc.

I'll start this off. Mine is obviously Chobits because it has deepth, is comical at times, and is so sweet. Usually I like to see character development in a book, which is why I don't like James Bond.
