Shadow: "You're right... This has gone on a long time, I guess it will be time to settle it... I'll start the next round soon, just have to start judging and get these battles closed. Expect this Sunday for new battles to be posted, waiting the final round. After that, we'll have a final match unless Kirby goes undefeated."
Shadow sighed.
Shadow: "To bad though, Star really wanted to stomp Kirbynite into the dirt." |

He takes a look at the dusty signup sheet...
"Looks like the tournament's been going for more than a year now... And if Legault really is dropping out of the tournament, and Cheese hasn't even entered the arena in what looks like a month, then I guess that means there's only six combatants left. Me, Melvin, Metalman, Sion, Kirbynite, and Jarukoth... Might I suggest we end the tournament after the final round...?"
He produced a piece of paper from his pockets. One for the road...
"Here, check this out: It's the only possible combination of people left that actually works. See?"

"...After this, there really doesn't seem to be any point to continuing the tournament. I suppose right now it's just a formality.... The final score's gonna end up coming down to Metal, Kirbynite, and Melvin anyway..."
Tears welled up in the young man's eyes as he came to the realization that he didn't want to face four months ago...
"...I just... I really wanted to fight Kirbynite in the final round. But now... Now the community really is..." |

Me spending most of sunday night looking over all the matches to see who won and who lost then deciding round 6, from there we will probably have another two rounds, or another round if its obvious who's going to win, and see what happens.
From what I can see the line up may very well be!
Legualt vs Melvin
Jarukoth vs Cheesepie
Grey vs Metalman
Kirbynite vs Sion
and... umm... I think I'm booting all the people that didn't respond in their last match or let it die out, haven't been active for a while, or any number of things. Any complaints can just be left here or pmed to me, but I'm not putting up with bullshit anymore. My original idea was EVERYONE THAT ENTERED AND SAID THEY'D DO SOMETHING WOULD BE HERE AND DO IT... yeah, people aren't like that though.
Anyways, if I'm leaving anyone out who posted but didn't have a fight, leave me a message here.
The next round WILL start next monday. So far I believe it looks like this in rankings.
Kirbynite and Cheesepie 0 losses.
Grey and Metalman 1 losses each.
Jarukoth, 2 losses, I'm not sure on this one or anyone elses. |

Shino: "Geez, We've been on the fast track to Loserville lately. Population: Us..."
Jarukoth: "Just when you think you're gaining points on what the judges score on, they surprise you again..." 
Shino: *sigh* "Well, I guess it can't be helped at this point. This thing is almost over anyway, right?"
Jarukoth: "I think there is only one more match left..."
Jarukoth turns to the rest of the crowd...

William walked in, dressed up in the same armor as the subjects of the SPARTAN II project. It was a dark blue color, except the faceplate, which was a shiny gold.
When he reached the middle of the room, he took off the helmet and began panting a whole lot.
William: "God, this armor is heavy! Geez... I need a break for a minute."
He waltzed on over to a nearby couch which he collapsed on. He sat himself up and looked around. He then asked a general question.
William: "So... ummm... now that I am judging now, what exactly do you need me to do right now, if anything? I know I have to judge, but is there anything to judge right now?"
William could sense some aggravation between the contestants. He felt that something was needed to be done, and soon. |

D, unless you're intent on becoming a permanent judge, William (Cpubasic13 AKA Caboose-1) has expressed a desire to take over: He's already volunteered. If you really want the job, settle it between yourselves. |

Kirby is SO lucky that I like the SB forum enough to actually come back here. Since it seems that Teddylot has gone AWOL, I guess I'll take a judge with the tournament, since I was a judge before with Kirby and Teddy.
So I guess I'll get started with the whole thing and then be on my way. |
