You left out the crappy part on purpose -- the one-button touchpad mouse. Real men have three-button mice. (j/k )
Right now, the top left corner fires off Expos

Yeah, the biggest problem I have with my brother's laptop is the screen. The brightness and colors always look funny, no matter what angle I view it at...
I re-read that entire post almost completely from the side (just enough to be able to make out the letters) so I'd say it's not a problem here. Steve Jobs once said "our competitors buy the panels we reject" and I thought it was just marketing talk. Appearently not.

Besides, I would rather buy a desktop IBM-PC clone/Macintosh.

If I had to buy one, I would buy that one.

I have a one button touchpad... doesn't worry me. And if I need to, I can always plug in a mouse....

Hmm. I do believe that's the same model my brother bought just a couple months ago. Very nice.

I'm typing this on it. The difference between this and the three year old PowerBook G3 I used to use sporadically is very, very big. It's not night and day. It's more like night in 5000BC and day 2937AD.

Oh, and the keyboard is backlit (as the spec tells us) but I haven't been able to arrange a good photo of it.

It's not as good as it looks. It's about ten times better.
