Good thing. He's a good player and have alot of experiance. But I think Calgary are the real winner of game 6.

Lanny. Still has that infamous mustache and all.

DarkSlaya: Andreychuk said that he wants to play next season, cup win or not.

I know, I was sitting there watching the game, and all of a sudden it was over, that was kinda dissapointing.

I saw replays of St-Louis goal during all this day and still wondering: Where the hell did he came from? I mean where was he?

Woah, this is still up, and right at the top with that. Thats a little more than I expected when I started it, I've just caught up reading most of what has gone on in my absence and with only one game left I'm really pulling for Calgary on this one. Although seeing Tampa win would be great too. Either way it'll be a great end to the playoffs. It was so dissapointing to see the game end like that last night, double OT just for it to go in on a bad shot from right up close.

I now have another reason for why I want Tampa to win: Dave Andreychuck.
Monday is probably is last time he ever plays and he never won a Stanley cup.

I watched the 1st overtime, went back on IRC while waiting for the 2nd overtime to start ... then I checked back later and it had just started, I went to tell it on IRC, and they scored as soon as I left the computer again

Me too, that's exactly when I started watching hockey and wanting Calgary to win (actually, a little before, when they were in the Western finals against Chicago) ... I was 5 They also had McDonald (forgot the full name, but he was #9) who retired soon after, he was even watching the game yesterday (it showed him on TV a few seconds) ...

If I remember right, it was Gelinas who almost scored at the end of the 3rd period ... and he had the winning goal against Vancouver, Detroit and San Jose

Go Flames!

I remember them winning it when I was a kid and just discovering hockey. Joe Nieuwendyk was the man.

It's hard to root for a hockey team in a southern city like Tampa. I mean, those warm-weather cities have the advantage in all the other sports. Let's see the Canadian teams win in hockey.

Figures. I watch the first OT, go to the can, and while in there, the Lightning force a game 7.

neo: Khabibulin. The one year I played fantasy hockey, I draft him (w00t) and he holds out (BOOO). Anyway, I'm pulling for Calgary, if only because:

* Canada deserves a champeen.
* of Jarome Iginla.
* the Red Mile might just spontaneously combust.

Take your pick.

neo.... angle...? it's not really an angle issue on that.... the puck either goes over the line, or it doesn't.... the line on the ice pretty much shows exactly where it has to be

and to me, it looked in... but I'm a Calgary fan ....

oh well... I think I predicted Flames in 7 (somewhere) eventhough I was really hoping for the end tonight.... yay game 7 in the finals.... and since the road teams wins more often, and all the games have been back and forth wins.... it's Calgary's turn again.... we better win damnit!

for those who saw the save in the third period by the TB goalie (i can't spell his name ), did it go in? I'd have to say no...because from the press box view, it looks like it crossed the line but if you factor in the angle you are viewing from, it didn't...

anyways, i'm going with TB to win game 7...

5-6 at home, 10-3 away ... and if they win tonight (starts in 4 hours), they'll have beaten the top 3 West and 1st East for the cup

I'll have to watch this tonight ... or at least listen on the radio ... should be interesting, whether Calgary wins or not (and I hope they do)

(edited, after watching the full game from start to end)
Wow, just wow ... it got to 2-2 in the 2nd period, Calgary missed great chances to score during the 3rd period and overtime ... and about as soon as the 2nd overtime started, Tampa Bay scored and won!

Well, looks like I'll be doing the same on Monday evening, except there'll be even more stress

heh, yeah... Calgary beat all the teams they faced on the road more often than at home....

and the last 2 game 6's they won at home to win each series... so this one is just as promising... and it would mean we win the cup

(oh and thanks for posting neo... I've been waiting for someone to)

OT win for Calgary, 1 win away... Calgary has been crazy tonight

calgary now one win away from the cup...and they are doing it on the road...something like they did to SJ...so um...since they are at home, they are going to win...

hehehhee, yup.... I enjoyed it, mostly because Calgary won... and yeah, the fight was rather surprising.... not that I didn't like it....

but that first Simon goal.... (besides being the literal game winner) gave Calgary the jump and energy in the game... and after it, TB didn't stand much of a chance...

Tonight's game wasn't that bad. Great win for Calgary and a really exciting first period - not so much playwise but whenever you have Iggy and Vinny fighting and a bunch of hard hits... yeah, it's entertaining.

124 penalty minutes....

and it was a terrible game... there was no flow to it.... the calls were terrible... for both teams....

although, it is nice to see that TB actually has some fight in them... I'm glad Calgary hasn't just walked all over them... it would have been shameful....

now we get to see if TB can keep it up, or if the sea of red will win over the next game, or 2

Tampa won that game. Lots of penalty (around 100 min). Was a good game.

You'd be amazed at what typoes can be made when you're typing without thinking (I've made the famous "dick/disk" typo before. Luckily I caught it before posting anywhere).

Getting back to topic, a Tampa Bay win could be good for hockey in warm-weather climates in general. And they don't seem to be going away just yet (They were up 1-0 in Game 2, last I knew).

Well it was a typo, and they arnt that far appart.

1-0 Tampa as I type. Seems like the game is one stretched out power for Tampa. I expected the Lightning to come out strong. Lots of penalties also.
