I could've rushed the stage at KMFDM, there was no security. No nothing. After the show they were trusting and kind enough to just sit and talk with fans (I offended Lucia because I rule). |

Security's going to be tight all over the place now. I've never had to be scanned, but I've been frisked a couple of times.
I bet Rammstein will have tight security when I go in February.
It's sad times that many places are considering metal detectors for the safety of the band, crew and fans.
It's sad that such a nutter had access to such a weapon, what an awful justification for murder. |

It was originally reported that Vinnie Paul was killed as well, but that turned out to be not true.

I heard about this this morning on the radio cuz the DJ to the radio station I listen to was talking about it from time to time. I didn't hear who it was but he did mention Damange Plan though. I swear some people are retards for doing something like this. Bands break up all the time for various reasons. |

What a fucking IDIOT. Who's DUMB enough to kill someone as highly regarded as Dimebag because Pantera broke up? A bunch of the people I saw on blabbermouth.net said the shooter got off easy by getting shot. I've gotta concur. |

Well I knew what this was going to be, despite being the most disinformative topic title ever created.
Anyway, the fact that there's such assholes on this planet that are willing to just open fire like this is going to bother me for a long time. Apparently (and this is just from what I've read from someone who claimed to be there), he was just some guy that was mad that the guys from Pantera were in another band. And that he was on the stage yelling "you killed Pantera" and whatnot.
From here on out, If you go to a concert, anywhere, you can probably expect to wait in line an extra half hour or so while they search everyone that enters the building. |
