Mmnope, sorry...I don't know how to move that text around, nor do I currently have the mental capacity to figure it out.

Curse this blasted muddle-headedness! I think I need to see a doctor...

Are you sure that you got the right url to the image? I ask because the image is not showing here on my computer... Or mabey its not showing because of all them other images up top there.

Edit: Never mind, I see it now.
Edit again: I dont think its possible.. Unless you know asm.. Or you can wait for the more advanced hackers to ansewer.

Can you send me your hack, so that I can have a look at it and fix these things?

Thanks for the repiles and comments!!!
Hidden Mario explanation helped me a lot. Thank you very much!

HyperHacker:
1- A "PLEASE don't post images anymore" would be nice, but OK, here I am writing text.

2- In fact I never changed the palette for the "Nintendo presents" screen. All I know is that image has only 4 colors. To see wich colors you have to change, here is a screenshot of my "Macbee presents" in Tile Layer Pro:

3- About the logo: It will not be "going away" when Mario walks. In my opinion it's better this way and it can't be moved down because Mario jumps all the time in the demo and sometimes it's hard to read the title. May be strange lookin' at the screenshots, but when you play, it's not really ugly...

I had the same problem and solved it, here is the tile you're searching for:

You have to remove the marked tile and use ExGFX for this file.
BTW: It's GFX01.bin where it's located.

Alright, some suggestions and questions.

1) STOP POSTING IN IMAGES! Text is fine, it doesn't need to look fancy.
2) How did you edit the "Nintendo Presents" palette? All I get is black, white, and all the rest are black. (I know someone explained this before, but my memory r teh sux0r. )
3) Title screen looks good but the logo needs to be moved down.
4) I'm not sure what bin file the title graphics are in, but they're in Gameboy format.
5) To emulate the 'title scrolling away' effect, just do it the same way SMB1 did it. Blank out the actual title, and use ExGFX to re-create the title screen on layer 1 or 2.
6) Since you can't do the '1-Player/2-Player' menu quite how SMB did it (unless you're up for some ASM hacking), I suggest putting 'Press Start' where the menu would be.

That looks really nice. I figured you'd use the conjoined all.bin (or something like that). Maybe it's part of the "O" on Mario from the original logo. (at least that's close to the position it was).

Looks like you've bumped the logo up. I'd figure you'd just use the logo as custom exgfx like the original, and begin movement after a few moments on screen. It took me awhile to figure out what was different (the title bumped up and scrolls with the level).

Will you be adding any new levels to this hack instead of only remaking SMB1? It'd be a nice touch, especially to add the Lost Levels.

1- Smallhacker:
THANKS A LOT!!! Mario now can warp thru the stages with no problem!!

2- Chickenlump:
I don't have the skill to do what I did just coding the layout, sorry. But c'mon 200k, even for a 56k connection isn't an absurd.

3- Chaos Force:
Thanks for your compliments!! It's a bizarre hack and a dirty job but someone had to do it =)

By the way, the Smallhacker help inspired me to continue the hack yesterday. Level 1-2 is almost finished. I really believe that in a few weeks or months I can release the complete game.

Yeah, try what SH said, thats what sounds like the problem is here seeing I had the problem a few times myself.

Otherwise good job on the game for far. Interesting seeing NES graphics for SMW.

In that case, be happy that he used a .PNG instead of .BMP.

Your post was very unkind to my 56k connection, as your entire post was a huge picture file. Next time, please just post the problem pics as pics, and your descriptive text as text.
The entire look of your post could have been done with a properly coded layout.

When using secondary entrances, enter the secondary entrance number (in this case: 129) instead of the level number (in this case: 105). Also make sure that you check the box called "Use the above number as a secondary entrance".
