YOU CAN GET ONE PART OF THE TRIFORCE IN ZELDA.

You get Triforce of courage, it's a part of the storyline. (Link Courage, Zelda Wisdom, Ganon power...)

Heh,that screenshot comes from that Zelda dungeon remake. They remade the first Dungeon from the orginal Zelda in OOT, althought just for beta testing. It was of course never added to the game.

Hell, there was severeal Zelda betas. Look around on the net and you will find screenshots.

They have a diffrent great fairie in the Japanse version, besides that it's just the language that differs.

The one under Zelda's courtyard is a polygon glitch, what you're seeing is the one on Link's hand.

The Japanese version is supposedly the same... But if you use the Japanese Mode GS code, things change. Added text on the title screen, and the camera angle is different when you get the ocarina.

I did see a PAR code that made the Triforce light up in the pause menu, dont know what it is though. (I will post it if I find it again" The one time I remember seeing it in the game is when the three Godesses are being described to you in a FMV it shows their departure point being the birth place of the triforce and then it there spinning.

Nintendo did release that picture, but it was on April 1st. That shot was taken in the deku tree and later on nintendo told everyone it was false (april fools joke).

I would think that they did create a version where the triforce was collectable (I know it is in the japanese version) so they could take the shot and make it seem real

And about that gif being a beta, dont the programmers usually leave beta info in the game? So maby its just hidden and changing some stuff around will unlock it
nvm just read what uncreative username posted.

In order of how often beta things are found (note: approximation):
[Most Often]
Unused text
Unused graphics
Unfinished levels
Working debug menus
Completely working debug menus
Unused (but complete) levels
Unused items
[Rarest]

Regarding game data? I found a few locations of it, but goofing with them just fucked with Link (made him climb and act funny, heh)

The offsets for it are somewhere else, almost any other range I tried crashed the game.

I remember reading somewhere that the triforce you see under the ground in the area you first meet Zelda at is the same one you see on Link's hand at some point in the game (that's why one of the pieces is brighter than the others).

I don't think it could become a collectible item in the game without a heavy amount of hacking, most likely involving a fair bit of ASM as well

There's also this picture:
The Triforce in an Early Version of Z64
I think I first saw that in a Nintendo Power magazine a while back. Most definitely from an early version of the game. The only thing that gets me about that is that the A button is blank Maybe it actually does that with the latest version that was released, but I haven't played it in a while

I wasn't able to find anything related to game data on google though. Hopefully someone knows where something can be found regarding that

That GIF movie was from an eaaaaaaarly beta shot from way-back-when.

The triforce is in fact -not- in the game, and is only seen once (and as far as I know, it's mildly hard to see, and only at the end of the game)

Sorry.

Does anyone hack Zelda 64? I remember years ago there were huge rumours about being able to obtain the triforce. I know 100% that its in the game, but just not obtainable (its under the ground when you meet zelda as a kid and watch ganondorf thru the window but its just...a glitch).

Anyway, I remember this shot:

And just wanted to know if anyone who hacks zelda has located any data as to if this place exits. Or even if the triforce is obtainable.
