Ailure: Well, duh. Even if the quantity wasn't limited, they're shipping it in meaning that they have to pay more for the systems; so they need to find some way to make money off them. Probably explains the bundle deal too.

I'd think 150 Euros is a good price point for the DS, give or take maybe 10 Euros on either side.

Ok!

I'll just wait a few months. They will release the DS in March here. Hopefully they will just keep the price the same as the $ , meaning

You forgot that they have a limited quantity of it too.

But that's alot, especially considering how low US dollars is right now...

Importing costs + the store's going to want to make a VERY good profit off the import.

Ok!

They sold a DS here in the Netherlands in some game store. They had over 10 for sale. I got excited 'till I heard the price...

I got a DS yesterday. Only one store in about 10 that I went to had it, and that was bundled in with a starter kit and Spiderman 2. It's pretty good, the only problem is that I wish you could change what buttons you can use for GBA games. No, I haven't played Spiderman 2 yet. I'm probably gonna trade that in for Super Mario 64DS.

Edit: Got SM64DS, it's pretty good, especially the minigames.

I honestly see little chance of the final game being as FPS-like as this, though it may be more like that than Prime 1 and 2 because of the inclusion of Power Beam ammo (not a good idea, in my opinion). We'll have to wait and see.

I have to agree with you there. If you've seen screens of the new single player game, it looks -very- Metroid-eee. They can't teach you to find items, now can they? =() The entire -style- of the game missions (other than the fact that they're sucky training missions to tell you how to kill enemies) is Metroid like.

Oh, I hope so. I have not seen screenshots of the full version. However, even if that is the case it wouldn't appease my wanting for 2D metroid games.

windwaker: I like it.

I'd ask you to do a pixel stylus but I figure that's waaaay too complex for the likes of you.

Nope, all of them were battle ready

My Slowbro had Amnesia, Withdraw, Psychic, Doubleteam. It was pretty damned tough.
In fact, I had an all Slowbro team because nothing could really touch them and all their stats are generally good.
That's really too bad =/ Though on the subject, I use Surf > Psychic because of it has more PP and power, and Rest > Withdraw so no one can screw you over with Toxic or something.

I'm an item man.

That was the setup of one of my other Slowbros, Amnesia, Rest, Substitute, Surf. I had lots of them. They were all fun.

My thoughts, exactly. The morph ball button is *required* for Regulator, so how anyone who's play the demo couldn't know about it is kinda surprising.

Eh. Upon closer inspection I see that there are. Huh. I wasn't really paying attention to the touch screen since their usage of it it's terribly good.

Anyway, to answer your statement, yes. I must admit that Metroid Prime: Hunters does not feel like Metroid it. In my opinion, Metroid Prime was quite a bit like the 2D metroids, and MP2 was a step in a different direction, but not really *bad.* MP:H, at least from the demo, seems like they went and took the whole concept and threw it out the window, then made a generic FPS with a somewhat metroidy theme.

Also, is anyone else horrified at the decision to make Metroids killable with just the power beam? I mean, it could be done without the ice beam in Metroid Prime in Prime 2 but if I recall correctly required quite a few super missiles. MP2 same, but, you can seriously kill them just by shooting them enough here. It's not ****ing right.

You guys, what the fuck? There's a morph ball button on the touch screen in Hunters, same as there are weapon selection buttons. Seriously. Anyway if the single-player game is anything like the training missions it's not very metroidy at all, just generic FPS. You have ammo for your power beam for fuck's sake. I just hope they make more 2D metroids. I don't care if they make them with 3D graphics and 2D gameplay (à la Mischief Makers) as long as the gameplay is indeed 2D. I will now link here. This concerns me greatly.

But he honestly would wind up deleting that savefile himself, to start over with the collecting. I always find Mario64 boring as when I finished all stars since I have no pressure...

This guy beats a game, puts it away and brags about it later.

My pokemon game had all level 100s made for battling. All 151 pokemon, all the evolved forms and single evolution pokemon (except really bad ones) were put to lvl. 100. I was a sad child.

$30? I thought it would be way more...

My guess is that Nintendo holds off on an American release until they see how the PSP does, but it's about time they started using those SD cards for SOMETHING.
