yah, but i think a lot of those projects are 2 years + old, and i'm not entirely certain how good the sourcecode would be... in any event, i sent him some help on AIM.

Thanks, Gavin. Mind unblocking me on AIM again?

A long while back FP gave me the source (two versions, if i recall correctly) to Sniper Hex along with a few other projects. One of them a really useful nametable editor.

Anyway, i'll check with him and see if he minds me sharing the source. He's not really done romhacking, but he's certainly done with the name 'FrenziedPanda' for the most part

Also, other than that i know there were about 3-4 total VB hex editors, and 2 of them were open source. One of them was Thingy32, and i can't remember the other. If it comes to me i'll try to help, other wise i just might be able to create something from scratch for you if i get the time

Aye, it was Frenzied Panda, and he did split and remove all his things.
Pity all that uglyness took place concerning him, he had quite a bit of talent.
The hex editor was called Hex Sniper (and sometimes Sniper's Hex ), I'll see if I can find his stuff If I have it archived, and make it available somewhere.

-----edit-----
Alas, all I could find on the net was this old page with the binary I already had, no source included. It's still worth a download, however, It really is a great Hex Editor.

Last I checked Frenzied Panda (that's his name) left the ROM Hacking thing a while ago, and took his stuff with him.

I'm not sure of this, but at least with the whole name you can just check his threads via the Memberlist.
