There wasn't any problem with that. Even if Cruel Justice is banned until June 1st, he can still see the replies to this thread. Furthermore, since he is banned by request, he will probably be coming back, and once he does, he can see the replies to the thread at that time.

However, he originaly posted this in November of 2004, but since no one had replied at the time, the information you posted is still useful for other people who may want to know how to do this.

For the monster's create event, put:
self.HP = 10
//Change 10 to it's Hit Points.

For the monster's step event, put:
If self.HP = 0
instance_destroy(self)

That makes it die when dead.

You know how in SMRPG the monsters walk about?
I cannot figure out how to destroy them after they have been defeated.

+It would be kinda nice to make it so that your character does'nt engage in a battle scene. Instead, they just attack monsters until they die.
