1) Birch can check for the "time" to be zero, that'd imply it hasn't been set.
2) There really aren't that many timed events...

I could use a "blank slate" patch that gets rid of all the storyline stuff at the start (IE. when you get out of the truck you can just walk around instead of being lead into your house, birch's speach replaced with just a few menus, etc.) I tend to have ideas without any means of turning them into reality... |
