Well, they're actually goggles ... I think that's one of the weakest parts of the drawing, not being able to tell exactly what they are.  |

Well ... I just scan in my doodles then change the levels to get rid of the junk I don't want. I fix up the line art (with a mouse) so that looks good. I then use the polygon lasso tool and the power of layers to color it. For the shading, I use the same tool, and fill it in with either black or white on a low opacity.
And I use Photoshop Elements 2.0 ... I'm too poor to buy anything else.
Hiryuu, her name is Kim Yeo, and she doens't have a backstory yet. |

I saw these earlier, but didn't comment....
Both of them look pretty good to me. You have a very cute comic style.
What are you using to color the pictures with?? (Software? And with a mouse, or a tablet?)
If you're using a tablet, give programs like Painter or Open Canvas a try, I'd be interested to see what you could do with stuff like that..... |

So I was doodling during class ... like always, and I came up with nifty little doodle which I decided to put into the computer, clean up, color, and whatnot. Here's the finished product.
I tried improving my scraggly shading in this one. There is a first, however. It's my first time drawing a female character, seriously.  Anyway, she's hopefully gonna pop up in the Story Forum sometime soon ... and ... the end.

Wow, thats great Teddylot. Even if this is your first shaded/colored doodles, its pretty obvious you've already got it down. And I'd also have to agree it would look pretty sharp in a layout |

Awesome. I've finally gotten around to drawing up something spiffy. It took me an hour or so, and this is one of my first colored/shaded doodles. Anyway, with out further ado.
