Use a <div tag with "autoscroll: auto" in his style properties.

Scrollbars are annoying. Not that i'm pissed or something, but i think that would only make your post harder to read. Oh, and for the love of god, don't put dark bg image with dark text or something like that.
Baby Jesus cries every time he sees things like that. You wouldn't like to make baby Jesus cry, would you?

If you set the table width and height to pixels rather then a percentage surely that will set it to a size?

i partially agree, however the layout sort of depends on the scrollbars, you will see why when it is finished.

I can't help you with how to do it. But I will say this:

DON'T DO IT

Layouts are supposed to fit the content of the page/post. Not the other way around. Good designs stretch/shrink to fit the user's screen and accomodate any size content. There's already a scrollbar attached to the browser... there's no reason to add another one just for your page/post.... it just makes the page harder to navigate (or the post harder to read)... which ultimately just defeats the whole purpose.

hmmm, for some reason i cant remember how to do some html (its been a while) i was wondering how i would make a table stay the same size at all times, no matter how much taxt is in it, even when it contains too much to fit inside. what i would like to do, is for it to be given a scroll bar, as seen in some members posts. to get a better idea of what i mean, as i usualy ramble on, check out the site, it hasnt been modified i ahve just gathered graphics and arranged the page, it currenly has no content. here it is
