the only reason I ask is because it seems to be the only unexplained thing in the game, as in, it's so simple that it doesn't need explanation. but i am even simpler and don't get it. |

Ahhhh helllll it's been ages since I've played that game...this is just weird trying to recall a little spot in the Animal Village and that one painting in the one house.
Kinda like the first painting in the game Xenogears by Fei, or one of a few.
There's probably some added meaning but, I wouldn't know of it. I don't usually take my games, even the action/RPGs that seriously. |

I reckon that the painting to which the animal village's alligator artist is really creating is a magnifying lense. Is this what you see? is that some cute irony or is their some deeper meaning? |
