I've only heard Numb/Encore, and I think it sounds bland at best. So I don't think this'll be anything I'll spend time listening to. Although, I might just check out the others, because the idea sounds interesting, nonetheless.

And, just maybe, this will be a good way for both JayZ and Linkin Park to get some new fans?

I've heard 4 and 6 and that's it. I really want to get this CD, since I am a fan of both but moreso of LP.

Well I've listened to the whole thing, and I actually think it's really good. The only track that doesn't really live up to the other songs is "Big Pimpin'/Papercut".

I guess two wrongs do make a right

i had the misfortune of finding Jay Z mixed with Weezer one day. Absolutely horribly mixed, not that i would have liked it anyway, but it made for both bad rap and bad weezer.

what a no talent ass-clown

I saw the show on Mtv today and it was great. They only showed like 4 songs though, I hope the CD has more.

I heard the first collaberation. I really surprised when I found out Jay-Z wanted to do something with Linkin Park. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything too impressive, but do remeber thinking there could be better songs to combine.

Depending on what they do on the CD, this will either be great, or a disaster waiting to happen.

I still havent heard it, but I heard a little bit of one from the commercial...couldnt pick out what it was, but it was pretty neat...Linkin park has always been my favorite band..and jay z was just ok to me...but if you mix great and good, you get awesome..so thats what im hoping it to be...and its actually a 2 disc dvd..with lots of different things.

Okay while I'll stick to the belief that Jay-Z is a legend, how or in what dimension is Linkin Park a legend?

Now that I'm saying that they suck. They don't.

They are simply an average band, with an appeal to the masses.

I heard the 'Numb/Encore' remix/song/whatever, and it was at best "okay". Nothing out of the ordinary from the blandness that is the music scene this year.

Hopefully the rest of the Cd will be well put to make it a good purchase. I will reserve my entire judgement till I listen to the entire thing but for now, I predict it will sell, but it will still be 'just another attempt to blend rap-rock'

This is a long thread. Click here to view it.
