I need any guides or anyone willing to talk and help me get this done ntil my internet actually gets half fast again.

I find it somewhat disturbing that you have developed a messageboard system, without the use of a local server.

lol... yeah it was pretty disturbing... that's why I convinced him to set up a local server... that way the rest of his development wouldn't be as disturbing...

if you wanted to, you could download xampp(http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html)
it hs apache, php, mysql, and some more things, but I think you can install without the option for other things, and I think it has the config files already setup and everything, so its install, and run basically...all in a 20MB package.

well, if your internet connection is slow, then you it would take a while to bring that stuff onto your own computer. Apache is around a 4-6mb download for the source, PHP is around the same. MySQL is an 18MB download for the source, 25-30MB for the compiled executables...

anyways, what system are you running on first of all. I built Apache/PHP/MySQL for Cygwin and that took about 30 minutes to set up once I know how things should be done.
